Beauty recipes with clay

Clay is a fairly common product used in cosmetology. It helps in the fight against aging, moisturizes and evens out skin texture. Clay masks are easy to make.

It is enough to dilute a small amount (1 tablespoon or teaspoon) of clay with water to a paste and it can be applied.

Clay masks will help solve many skin problems: in addition to moisturizing, they will restore elasticity, improve complexion and texture, help get rid of age spots, cleanse pores and have a disinfecting effect.

Masks using blue clay give excellent results. Masks are used 3 times a week. If you dilute the clay with milk, you can apply the mask daily.

With constant use, the effect of the procedures will be lasting and clearly visible.

Clay masks with milk or honey can be enriched with a few drops of a suitable essential oil. Red clay masks are used to restore hair structure and combat wrinkles and blackheads.

Kitchen pantry health

Look in the refrigerator and on the kitchen shelves, you will probably find something there that you can use to make a face and body scrub or a healthy nourishing hair mask. Fans of natural products will especially like the recipes for quick “at-home” care, because such cosmetics contain no fragrances, preservatives, or substances that can harm the environment.

Sea salt for beauty

For example, sea salt is an excellent natural peeling. You can cleanse the skin of your entire body using a scrub made from a small handful of salt and heavy cream or sour cream. This mixture should be applied to a damp body and massaged gently, paying special attention to places where the skin is rougher - elbows, knees. A scrub made from dried coffee grounds and olive oil will help achieve the same wonderful result.

Sea salt, containing many beneficial microelements, perfectly saturates the skin with the nutrients it needs. It is useful to make baths for hands and feet. To make such a bath, salt is dissolved in a small bowl of warm water. For better results, you can add a few drops of essential aromatic oil, such as lemon, to the water.

The best and simple beauty recipes

  1. Another great kitchen cleanser is cornmeal. To obtain flour, corn grits must be finely ground in a coffee grinder. Add water to the flour, apply the resulting paste evenly to your face and leave for 15-20 minutes. The mask will work better if, after applying it, you lie down and relax, and when finished, moisturize your skin with cream.
  2. An oatmeal mask, for the preparation of which oatmeal is also ground in a coffee grinder, cleanses, softens and nourishes the skin well. At the same time, the more sensitive the skin, the finer the flour needs to be ground. Add a little water (for oily skin) or cream (for dry skin) to it to make a paste, and the mask is ready!
  3. You can cleanse your facial skin and give it a fresh look with a mixture of shaving soap, table salt and a pinch of soda. This mixture perfectly cleanses pores of impurities. And if you first take a steam bath for your face (in other words, breathe in the steam), using decoctions of medicinal herbs, such as chamomile or calendula, the effect will be even more noticeable.
  4. Regular tea bags can be an excellent tonic for the skin around the eyes. You need to brew the bags as usual, then remove them, cool them, apply them to your eyes and lie down for 10-15 minutes.

More products and recipes for health and beauty

A large number of substances beneficial for the skin are found in products such as cottage cheese, banana, pear, honey, lemon, strawberries.

  1. Lemon juice returns shine to hair, and for the face, especially for oily skin, a mask made from egg whites, to which a couple of drops of lemon juice is added, will be very useful.
  2. And to give softness and shine to your hair, an egg yolk mask with lemon juice is also added.
  3. A banana pulp mask softens the skin and smoothes out wrinkles, and a pear pulp mask will give any skin type smoothness and elasticity, as well as a fresh strawberry mask, which is especially useful for dry facial skin.

Aloe in hair mask

Aloe grows in many homes; it is also called agave. If you take one fleshy leaf of this medicinal plant, make a paste out of it (using a meat grinder or blender), add a spoonful of honey and castor oil (it can be replaced with egg yolk) - you will get an excellent nourishing hair mask. Do it once a week before washing your hair, and you need to keep the mask on your hair for an hour and a half. You can also use aloe to cure stomach ulcers.
