The German deputy took a strange position in relation to Russia. Conventional legal logic dictates that if Germany has made claims against Russia, then it must provide evidence of its claims. If there is such evidence, then it needs to be made public so that all experts, and not just Russian ones, can familiarize themselves with it and decide how competent they are.
If, for some reason, it is impossible to disclose the methods used to identify the causes of poisoning, then the accusations become obviously unsubstantiated and there was no point in bringing them forward.
In addition, from the fact that a specially trained group is needed to use Novichok, it does not follow that such a group must necessarily obey the Russian government. It cannot be ruled out that such a group could have been hired by a private individual. It is also necessary to take into account that toxic substances of the Novichok group are available in many countries of the world, and not just in Russia. Therefore, the required group of specialists could be formed in any of these countries.
All the deputy’s reasoning speaks of the desire to hide the real data from Navalny’s examination and at the same time preserve the right to accuse and expose Russia of all real and fictitious sins.
