I really love dresses, although when the temperature drops, I hate to say goodbye to the summer variations. But who said that you need to put your dresses away when winter comes? In fact, there are plenty of ways to insulate your summer wardrobe. Here are some ways to wear summer dresses in winter.
Leave the short dresses
Winter is a great reason to take summer dresses made of thin fabrics or short ones and give them a second life. I have a wonderful blue and cream striped dress. When it was mailed to me, I found it to be a little short. So even though it was a summer dress, I was excited to wear it in the fall or winter with leggings, a cardigan, and flats.
I also have a thin white dress with embroidery that looks much better peeking out from under a jacket than just on its own.
Tights and leggings

Boots instantly make your dress look more sophisticated. Just recently I bought myself a pair of boots, just below the knee, and will wear them all winter. Tall shoes look amazing with a pair of over-the-knee leg warmers or a pair of colorful stockings.
