Let us recall the background: three years ago, singer Zhanna Friske was diagnosed with a brain tumor. When the trouble became public, Channel 1 and the charitable organization Rusfond announced a fundraiser for Zhanna’s treatment. Millions responded. As a result, the fund transferred 25,011,790 rubles to Zhanna’s account.

But, alas, the singer died on June 16 last year. After this, her relatives had to either account for the money spent on treatment (as expected - with documents and checks), or return public donations. The family provided checks for 4 million, the remaining almost 21 million remained hanging in the air. No appeals, arguments or appeals to Jeanne’s family had any effect. They did not provide any money or documents. After this, Rusfond turned to law enforcement agencies with a request to initiate a criminal case regarding the theft of 20,890,831 rubles.

And recently new details came to light: two weeks before Zhanna’s death, this money was withdrawn from her account by proxy.

When asked by the police who exactly withdrew the money, Rosbank (accounts were opened there) was in no hurry to answer. The same “slowness” is demonstrated by the Russian Oncology Research Center named after. N.N. Blokhin, where reports should be kept on how much money was actually spent on Friske’s treatment. Doctors, like bank workers, remain stubbornly silent.

The singer’s father, Vladimir Friske, also does not appear at the police station to give an explanation.

The singer’s father, Vladimir Friske, also does not appear at the police station to give an explanation. That is, everyone who holds the key to solving this story is hiding and not even noticing the police.

As a result of this “investigation”, law enforcement officers issued a resolution refusing to initiate a criminal case with the wording: “no objective data indicating the presence of a crime... was not established within the period established by law.”

The foundation perceived this document as an act of unconditional surrender of the Department of Internal Affairs for the Central Administrative District (Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow). The generous promise of the police not to prosecute the president of the foundation, Lev Ambinder (it was he who sent the statement to the Investigative Committee), is not even encouraging, since in his actions “no signs of a false denunciation were found and there is no evidence of a crime.”

But this “magnanimity” was not what the foundation expected. We expected an objective and thorough investigation. The fund is not satisfied with the letter from the police.

Therefore, on May 27, Rusfond appealed the decision to refuse to initiate a criminal case against the prosecutor in the manner established by Art. 124 and 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.

Meanwhile, Zhanna’s inheritance, including the listed donations from TV viewers, is claimed by her father Vladimir Friske, mother Olga Kopylova and three-year-old son Platon, whose interests are represented by the singer’s common-law husband Dmitry Shepelev.

MEANWHILE

Zhanna Friske's husband stopped building the mansion

After the death of the famous singer Zhanna Friske, it turned out that during the artist’s illness, her common-law husband, TV presenter Dmitry Shepelev, built a house in a closed cottage village in the Istra district of the Moscow region.

— Someone said that it was Zhanna Friske’s father who was building a house. Although I built my house 14 years ago,” Zhanna’s father Vladimir Borisovich was indignant (details)

AND AT THIS TIME

Prankers failed to reconcile Zhanna Friske’s father with Dmitry Shepelev

The men's conversation every now and then returns to the singer's inheritance

Last Saturday, in the NTV program “Call,” telephone prank masters Vovan and Lexus tried to reconcile Zhanna Friske’s father, Vladimir Borisovich, and her common-law husband, TV presenter Dmitry Shepelev.

Having immediately made a reservation that they were not going to expose anyone, but only wanted peace, the pranksters got down to business.

First, on behalf of Shepelev, they called Vladimir Borisovich. And he, judging by the conversation, did not expose them right away. The father's confessions were more than frank. “We both messed up. We are two idiots. “We disgraced Zhanna to the whole world,” said Vladimir Friske. And he even admitted to Dmitry that he had thoughts of killing Shepelev: “What I wanted to do cannot fit into my head. But I thought that then the child would not have not only a mother, but also a father...” (details)

BY THE WAY

Zhanna Friske's son received a million-dollar inheritance

The scandal surrounding the missing millions of Rusfond, collected for the treatment of Zhanna Friske, does not subside. Recently, news broke in the media: people’s donations from the singer’s account were allegedly withdrawn by her mother, Olga Vladimirovna Friske. They say that two weeks before Zhanna’s death, she transferred 20 million rubles to her personal account. As proof, they cited bank statements and a power of attorney signed by Zhanna, stating that her mother could manage her daughter’s accounts... (details)

An unexpected turn in the search for “Friske’s money”

Singer Zhanna Friske died of cancer on June 16, 2020. Her inheritance - including 25,011,790 rubles transferred by Rusfond to her account - is claimed by Zhanna's father Vladimir Friske, mother Olga Kopylova (Friske) and young son Platon, whose interests are represented by the singer's common-law husband Dmitry Shepelev. Rusfond received money for Zhanna’s treatment from TV viewers during a help campaign organized by Channel One. The heirs did not account for the use of this money, Rusfond turned to law enforcement agencies. The result was unexpected.

On October 19, 2014, a donation agreement was concluded between Rusfond and Zhanna Friske. Under this agreement, Rusfond transferred more than 25 million rubles donated by TV viewers for her treatment to Zhanna’s account. The agreement provided for the right and obligation of Rusfond to demand an account of the expenditure of these funds or their full return.

During Zhanna’s lifetime, Rusfond received a report on expenses for 4,120,959 rubles, with a balance of 20,890,831 rubles. documents on expenditures were not presented.

Six months after the death of the artist, Rusfond, in accordance with the law, turned to the heirs with a proposal to either report on the spending of donations or return them. We have not received any answers. Since Rusfond is responsible for these funds to donors, on behalf of the president of the fund, Lev Ambinder, on January 20, 2016, an application was submitted to the Investigative Committee (IC) with a request to initiate a criminal case regarding the theft of 20,890,831 rubles. On March 11, the Investigative Committee responded that the application had been forwarded to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The police began an investigation.

Meanwhile, reports appeared in the media that two weeks before Zhanna’s death, this money was withdrawn from the account by proxy. Rusfond assumed that the police would establish the truth: they would initiate a criminal case and, as a result, identify the thief of public donations, which, by the will of Zhanna, were to be used for the treatment of seriously ill children.

But the police’s interest in the state of the accounts of the late Zhanna did not meet with understanding at PJSC Rosbank, where these accounts were opened. The police want to find out who withdrew money from the accounts, send a request, but “no response <...> has been received from the bank to date.” The police send a request to the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Oncological Research Center named after. N.N. Blokhin" of the Russian Ministry of Health to find out exactly how much was spent on Zhanna’s treatment, and doctors behave exactly the same as bank employees: “An answer <...> has not been received to date.”

Further more. Vladimir Friske also neglects the requests of the police: the father of the deceased “has not appeared to give an explanation <...> to date.” That is, both organizations and individual citizens do not think twice about our police, the pillar of power. And she has only one way out: “Objective data indicating the existence of a crime <...> was not established within the period established by law, and therefore the initiation of a criminal case should be refused.”

The deadline has not been established - what can you do about it...

These quotes are taken from the official response of the Department of Internal Affairs for the Central Administrative District (Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow) to the statement of Lev Ambinder.

And the police generously promise not to prosecute the applicant, Lev Ambinder, since “no signs of a false denunciation were found in his actions and there is no evidence of a crime.”

In general, the police have taken the path of boundless humanism. Policeman to villain: “Stop, hands up!” - and the robber shrugged his shoulders and walked on. And where is the police brutality, unjustified cruelty and similar outrages? Apparently, they have been completely eliminated. Together with common sense, which suggests that sometimes the request can be repeated for the sake of business, and even measures can be taken to ensure that citizens are polite and come to the police when called.

Rusfond told us what the money returned by Zhanna Friske’s family will be used for

Rusfond told how the money collected from Zhanna Friske’s heirs will be spent.

Earlier it was reported that the balance of the debt of Zhanna Friske’s heirs - 13,653,214 rubles - was transferred to the Rusfond account. The money was recovered by bailiffs following a 2020 court decision. Friske’s heirs were obliged to return to the fund the remainder of the amount collected for the singer’s treatment and not spent for its intended purpose.

The money that came to the Rusfond account in payment of the debt in the case of Zhanna Friske will be used for the treatment of five children with malignant tumors:

Dobromir Vorobyov (three years, Sochi, anaplastic ependymoma),

Alibek Karaev (three years, Sochi, medulloblastoma),

Misha Shaidukov (five years old, Chuvashia, medulloblastoma),

Nastya Karimova (14 years old, Samara region, Ewing’s sarcoma),

Maxim Mandrugin (two years, St. Petersburg, neuroblastoma of the right adrenal gland).

Maxim was paid for the expensive drug dinutuximab, the rest of the children will receive treatment at the Proton Therapy Center of the Sergey Berezin Medical Institute.

An action to help Zhanna Friske, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor (glioblastoma), was organized in January 2014 by Andrei Malakhov in the “Let Them Talk” program. “Rusfond” provided a bank account for collecting donations, to which the singer’s fans transferred 69,267,787 rubles. Of this money, 11,636,146 rubles. “Rusfond” transferred to pay Zhanna’s hospital bills; another 32,619,851 rubles, at the singer’s request, went to the treatment of nine children with cancer from among those on the “Rusfond” waiting list. The balance of funds is 25,011,790 rubles. According to the agreement with Zhanna, concluded on October 19, 2014, the fund transferred to her personal account, obliging her to return what was not spent. During the singer’s lifetime, Rusfond received a report on expenses in the amount of 3,378,576 rubles. The balance of donations amounted to 21,633,214 rubles. After the singer’s death, the relatives refused to return the remaining money according to the agreement, and Rusfond filed a lawsuit on January 13, 2020. On May 19, 2020, the Perovsky District Court satisfied Rusfond’s claim for the return of funds. Since there was no money in the heirs’ account, the penalty was applied to the property inherited by the relatives after the singer’s death. Rusfond received the first part of the debt, 7,980,000 rubles, on May 14, 2019. This money went towards proton therapy for four children with malignant tumors on the foundation's waiting list.
