Opera singer Anna Netrebko is divorcing her husband

Opera singer Anna Netrebko is not only the owner of a unique voice, but also a spectacular woman who has broken millions of hearts. They were connected by classical music, stage and art. Netrebko's husband is opera tenor Yusif Eyvazov, one of the best in the whole world. The singer was a student of Luciano Pavarotti, and even performed in front of the Pope himself.

Yousif was born on May 2, 1977, Algerian by nationality. Despite the strict upbringing, the parents gave their son the right to decide what he plans to become in the future. Eyvazov grew up as an ordinary child; for a long time he could not finally decide on a profession and did not think about the future. Having nothing better to do, I chose the metallurgical faculty and entered the Azerbaijan Polytechnic University.

Already in his first year, the guy abandoned his studies and his dream of becoming a “metallurgist”, entered the Baku Music Academy, but never completed it. Having moved to Italy, he entered the conservatory. Studying was not cheap, so I had to earn extra money. My parents helped as much as they could, my friends never left me in difficult times. The singer himself was always inspired by Montserrat Caballe, whose concert he was lucky enough to attend. I successfully completed my studies.

Concerts in Moscow in 2010 became Yusif Eyvazov’s debut. Afterwards - tours to Paris, Austria, Milan, Rome. The aria of the Moor Othello turned out to be especially successful at the international opera festival in Ravenna. The track record includes bright roles of an opera singer - the performances “Turandot”, “Andrea Chenier”.

At the end of December 2020, Yusif married opera singer Netrebko, but before that he divorced his 70-year-old wife. Now he is happily married, raising his wife’s son as his own, traveling a lot and sharing his talent with inspired listeners and fans. Yusif performs in Russia and abroad, participates in television shows.

Anna Netrebko: biography of the singer, personal life

The singer is from Krasnodar, born on September 18, 1971. Parents by nationality are Russian, Don Cossacks. Mom is an engineer, dad is a geologist, there are no creative personalities in the family. And yet, Anya brought songs into a completely unmusical family. Since childhood, she was a soloist in the Kuban Pioneer, and after school she moved to St. Petersburg and entered the music school on the course of T. B. Lebed the first time. After 2 years, she left her studies and was enrolled in the list of students of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.

The musical debut on stage took place in 1994. Among his significant works are the operas “Boris Godunov”, “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, “The Tsar’s Bride”, “The Barber of Seville”, “La Bohème”. The singer conquered the Russian stage after her first performance, and then went on tour abroad. She performed in concerts in Germany, Israel, Latvia, Finland, and gained worldwide fame and recognition.

Opera became the meaning of life for Anna Netrebko; she especially loved joint performances with the Mariinsky Theater, productions of “War and Peace” and “Don Juan”. Among her achievements: the singer recorded several studio albums, received Austrian citizenship, but did not give up Russian citizenship either. In the summer of 2010, together with Kirkorov, she performed the composition “Voice” on the “New Wave”, sang the anthem at the opening of the Olympics in Sochi, and became a confidant of Vladimir Putin.

Anna Netrebko's son was diagnosed with a terrible disease not recognized in Russia

The famous Russian opera diva Anna Netrebko admitted that her five-year-old son Thiago is seriously ill - he has been seriously diagnosed with autism. The singer spoke about this in Andrei Malakhov’s program “Let Them Talk,” which aired on Channel One on the evening of Thursday, November 28.

Earlier, information appeared that Netrebko broke up with her common-law husband, Uruguayan singer bass-baritone Erwin Schrott, with whom they lived together for six years, giving birth to a son. Anna and Erwin broke up formally due to the busy touring schedule of both, but actually because their marriage had exhausted itself. Netrebko said that she was tired of her ex-husband. However, the artists are going to continue to participate in joint productions and charity projects and together raise Thiago.

As for the boy’s diagnosis, Netrebko said that the child has a mild form of autism, which is “almost imperceptible.”

After his parents separated, Thiago remained to live with his 42-year-old mother (alas, in Russia, if there is a sick child, this happens in 90 percent of cases). Fortunately, Netrebko lives in New York, where, unlike Russia, there are enormous opportunities for the rehabilitation and socialization of children with a similar diagnosis.

Judging by Anna’s story, the son is a smaller copy of Dustin Hoffman’s hero from “Rain Man”: Thiago is very self-sufficient, neat, never litters or breaks toys. The child simply does not like to communicate. According to his mother, Thiago demonstrates amazing mathematical abilities, is well versed in computers, and loves to go to the zoo, where he really enjoys watching penguins swim underwater.

Thiago's parents learned about Thiago's diagnosis when the boy was three years old. “I thought, well, he doesn’t talk, it’s okay,” Anna said. - After all, he speaks when he needs something. And the speech delay is due to the fact that he constantly hears four different languages. And then we began to notice that when you contact him, he sometimes doesn’t react at all. And it began."

As the singer said, doctors claim that Thiago’s disease is a genetic change. “I myself am a generally healthy person, I have never taken any pills,” Netrebko noted.

Autism is considered a mental disorder that occurs due to a genetically determined disorder of brain development. Autism is characterized by an inability or severe difficulty in social interaction and communication, as well as restricted interests and repetitive activities. All these signs usually appear before the age of three. All over the world, autism is considered an independent disease, unlike in Russia, where such a diagnosis is given only to children. Starting from the age of 18, all autistic people are labeled as schizophrenics, cutting off any opportunity for socialization.

In other countries, with a mild form of autism, people can live a full life: live independently, study, work, play in the theater, and even serve in the army. On video: a fragment of Andrei Malakhov's program.

Does Anna Netrebko have children?

The opera singer has a son from her first marriage. The boy's name is Thiago (affectionately Tisha) and he has autism. Anna publicly announced this back in 2013, when she took part in Malakhov’s scandalous program “Let Them Talk.” For everyone and herself it was a real shock, since the woman had no doubt that her child was developing normally.

The singer gave birth to a son at the age of 37. I began to realize that the boy had autism when he was 3 years old. He closed in on himself and did not make contact with his peers, secluded himself. Thiago was thoroughly examined abroad and underwent several rehabilitation courses, which bore fruit.

Today the boy speaks English (Russian is worse), sings well, plays the guitar, participates in photo shoots with his celebrity parents, and travels a lot. The caring mother does not stop rehabilitation and sees obvious successes. She often posts videos on social networks and brags about her own son's achievements.

Anna Netrebko spoke about divorce and her unusual son

video.mail.ru In Andrei Malakhov’s program “Let Them Talk,” opera diva Anna Netrebko spoke about her divorce from baritone Erwin Schrott. About the fact that he no longer wants to live in a luxury apartment in Manhattan. She also admitted that her son turned out to be an unusual child.

“Our time together means a lot to us, and we will naturally continue to take care of our son Thiago together. Future joint performances will take place as planned. In addition, we will continue to work on our fund,” said Anna Netrebko. The other day, the 42-year-old opera diva admitted that she was divorcing her common-law husband, 40-year-old Uruguayan baritone Erwin Schrott, because they began to rarely see each other due to a “busy tour schedule.”

However, in Malakhov’s program, which was filmed in Netrebko’s apartment in Manhattan, the singer said a lot of frank things. She admitted that her five-year-old son Thiago was diagnosed with autism.

“We didn’t have a wedding. And thank God. Why is it needed? Well, maybe for the sake of a white dress and to receive gifts... and then get a divorce? And now - everything that was mine will remain mine. It’s easier this way... He always talked a lot, but I’m used to doing it. If I had only listened to him, I would never have had what I have,” Anna Netrebko said about six years of life with her common-law husband.

For Anna Netrebko, the baby became the first child, while Schrott already had a daughter, Lara, from his first marriage. In May 2012, Anna Netrebko and Erwin Schrott founded a foundation dedicated to the education and upbringing of children, as well as the development of art and culture.

Let us remind you that autism was diagnosed as a diagnosis for the sister of supermodel Natalia Vodianova, the youngest daughter of director Fyodor Bondarchuk, and the son of singer Natasha Koroleva’s sister. Most parents prefer to take their autistic children abroad if they have the opportunity. Alas, they believe that in Russia there are no conditions for a full physical and spiritual life for such unusual children.

Anna Netrebko and Philip Kirkorov

They delighted fans with their collaboration. The magical composition “The Voice” gained thousands of likes in a matter of days and became one of the leaders of the charts.

The song with the words “Love, I hear your voice” was heard on all Russian radio waves and was awarded the Golden Gramophone award. The duo's reputation was damaged by Kirkorov's aggression towards the reporter. Taking this disadvantage into account, Anna Netrebko refused to sing a duet with the king of the national stage in the future.

Personal life of Anna Netrebko

For a long time, the press wrote about the singer’s dysfunctional romance with dancer Nikolai Zubkovsky. Those close to the singer said that Nikolai often raised his hand to her, and Anna finally broke off the relationship.

Then for 6 years she lived in a civil marriage with the Uruguayan singer Erwin Schrott. Together they founded the Anna und Erwin Foundation to support needy children from St. Petersburg and Vienna. In 2008, Anna gave birth to Erwin's son, Thiago Arua. But the couple broke up due to busy work schedules, which made it impossible to be together.

And at the end of 2020, Anna married tenor from Azerbaijan Yusif Eyvazov.
