The skin on the neck is very thin and delicate. Blood circulates there more slowly than on the face. Such weakened nutrition leads to rapid aging of the skin. To keep your neck soft and elastic, you need to take care of it daily. Apply nourishing cream twice a day. Remember: this part of the body does not like creams for oily skin. You need to buy specialized creams. Nourishing face creams designed for normal to dry skin, as well as moisturizing creams, are also quite suitable.
How to properly apply cream to your neck? First, rub a small amount of cream on your palms. Then, slightly tilting your head back, apply the cream to the left side of your neck with sliding circular movements of your right hand, and with your left hand to the right. Directions of movement are only from bottom to top, from the collarbones to the chin.
After applying the cream, get into the habit of doing a light self-massage - pat the sides of your neck with the backs of your hands, and massage your chin with rapid tapping movements with your fingers, like pianists playing the piano. Every woman should make neck masks. When choosing the most suitable mask for yourself, carefully monitor your skin's reaction. If the mask causes discomfort, wash it off sooner. If the negative effect recurs, discard it. Try to find another one.
Recipe for the “Young Neck” mask: mash grated boiled potatoes with a small amount of vegetable juice: carrot, cucumber, tomato. Apply the resulting puree to your neck. Wrap a warm towel or scarf around your neck. After fifteen minutes, rinse with warm water.
Pour a small amount of olive oil into a shallow saucer and heat slightly in a water bath. Using a cotton swab, gently apply the oil to previously cleansed neck skin. Wrap it in soft cotton cloth. After 30 minutes, blot off the remaining oil with a napkin. This procedure should be carried out in a course - three times a week for a month. It is better to do it in the evening, before bed.
To maintain and restore the elasticity of the neck skin, wipe your neck with any vegetable oil: sunflower, olive, corn. Then rub fine salt into the skin until it becomes slightly red along the lines from the collarbone to the chin. Complete the procedure with a hot compress - soak a small waffle towel in hot milk, half diluted with water. Keep the compress for at least 5 minutes until it cools down. Then rinse your neck with cold boiled water and apply nourishing cream.
Washing with a decoction of potatoes, which is prepared for eating, is extremely useful. If you notice the first wrinkles on your neck, immediately start making compresses with regular table salt. Dissolve three tablespoons of salt in two glasses of warm boiled water. Soak a soft terry towel in this solution, wring it out and apply it to your chin for one to two minutes.
To prevent the appearance of a double chin, pat the skin under the lower jaw daily with a stiff terry towel soaked in concentrated salt water. Take it with your hands by the ends so that the middle part of the towel sag. Sharply stretching the towel, use its middle to clap the chin.
Gymnastics for the blood vessels of the neck is also necessary. Take two bowls. Pour hot water into one and cold water into the other. Prepare two napkins. Wring out a cold napkin and apply it to your chin, pulling it tightly so that the fabric fits tightly to your neck. Then do the same with a hot napkin. Change napkins quickly to maintain the effect of temperature contrast. Compresses should be applied for at least ten minutes. The procedure should be repeated once a week for women under 35 years of age as a preventative measure, and twice a week for those who have already crossed this age limit. Pour cold water over your neck more often - this increases blood circulation.
To keep your neck young longer, never tilt your head down. For those women who are forced to sit at a desk for a long time, I advise: every hour, throw your head back for 5-10 seconds;
Using vigorous but not sudden movements, pat your neck and chin area with the back of your hand. At least fifty blows;
You can do an exercise to strengthen your neck muscles right at your workplace. Stretch your lips forward with a tube and pronounce the vowel sounds: Y-O-U-I. It is not necessary to pronounce sounds out loud.
In the evening, before going to bed, you should perform the following three exercises to support your neck seven times. Place your crossed hands at the back of your head and press them against your head, while exerting resistance so that you feel the tension in your neck.
Place your hands under your chin and lower your head, overcoming the resistance of your hands.
Lying on your stomach, tilt your head as far back as possible and lower it to your chest.
In the morning, before applying makeup, I would recommend “stretching” the muscles of your face and neck. Take a deep breath through your nose, trying to stretch your lips forward. With three fingers, 1st on one side, 2nd and 3rd on the other, hold the corners of your mouth. Try to exhale calmly through your mouth, which is still secured with your fingers. Repeat at least four times. With your right hand, firmly support the left half of your neck. Three fingers of the left hand fix the left corner of the mouth. Inhale through your mouth. The contracted muscles pull down the left corner of the mouth, while the fingers hold it in place. During exhalation, the muscles relax - rest begins. Exercise helps strengthen the muscles of the cheeks and neck. The same movements are made for the other half of the face. Five paired repetitions.
Sharply throw your head back, relax your lower jaw, open your mouth. Tighten the muscles of the chin area, slowly but forcefully lift the lower jaw towards the upper one so that the lower lip slightly covers the upper one. Repeat this movement until pain appears in the muscles of the chin.
The next exercise is to stretch the neck muscles and ensure free blood circulation. It can be done in any position, provided that the shoulders are pulled back, the head is raised up, and the chin is pulled forward. The point of the exercise is to try to put your chin on your chest.
The last exercise is tilting the head either to the right or to the left shoulder. Moreover, when performing it, you need to pull your shoulders down, and not raise them to your ears.
For those ladies who have already developed wrinkles, let us remember the recipes of traditional medicine. Namely cucumber water. Cut the cucumbers into slices, put them in a bottle, fill them with good purified vodka or diluted medical alcohol. Leave in the sun for two weeks. Pour into a dark glass bottle. Wipe your neck with a towel generously soaked in it every day. The skin of the neck softens and wrinkles gradually disappear.
For women of advanced age, an old recipe for neck rejuvenation will help. Infuse linden blossom - a tablespoon per glass of boiling water. Add a teaspoon of natural honey. Lubricate your face and neck. After fifteen minutes, wash off. A massive attack on the sagging skin of the neck will give visible results in ten days if this procedure is performed without interruption. Repeat the cycle twice a year.

Masks
You can prepare different masks that will not only help tighten your neck, but also provide the skin with the nutrients it needs.
A mask made from dry yeast nourishes the skin well. To prepare it, take one tablespoon of yeast. Milk is added to it. You need just enough of it to get a mixture similar to sour cream. Then the entire mass is applied to the neck and left until completely dry.
A honey mask will nourish the skin and make it smooth. In addition, preparing such a mask is very simple. Honey and oil, such as olive oil, are mixed in equal proportions. Keep the mask on for 20-30 minutes and then rinse with water.
Treatment
Therapy is prescribed only after an accurate diagnosis has been established. Do not self-medicate, adhere to all prescribed prescriptions, follow the advice of your doctor. Insufficient attention to the problem of pain in the neck and shoulder can lead to loss of the ability to move the arm, neurological, and cerebral problems.
It is not possible to give general recommendations for such pain; the only thing that can be taken at the pre-medical stage is the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as painkillers. They can only be taken with meals for no more than 4 days, as these drugs can cause diseases of the gastrointestinal mucosa.
Exercises for pain in the muscles of the neck and shoulder
If you have a feeling of discomfort after an uncomfortable sleep or a long period of sitting, stretching exercises will help. They especially help after a hard day at a sedentary job. This complex can be performed for cervical myositis, but only with simultaneous administration of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is recommended to wait out the acute period for about 2-3 days and then start exercising.
Important: too intense pain, especially during exercise, is a contraindication to performing gymnastics and a signal to urgently visit a doctor.
- You can perform it both sitting and standing. You need to put your hand behind your head, pressing gently, move it towards the shoulder. The stretch should be repeated in both directions. Do everything slowly, without sudden jerks.
- You need to kneel, facing the wall. Hands need to be placed up with emphasis. Slowly tilt your head down, arching your spine.
- Similar to the first exercise, but you should tilt your head down, clasping your hands at the back of your head. It is advisable to perform while sitting.
- Hands should be placed behind your back and fingers joined. While stretching your limbs back, tilt your head to the side. This exercise can be done anywhere after a long day of work, when you need a break and relaxation of stiff muscles.
- Sitting on your knees, place your hands on the floor behind you. Raising your pelvis, bend back, stretching your entire back.
