Childhood and youth

The future actor was born on March 21, 1964. Igor Golovin’s homeland is the village of Frunzovka (now Zakharyevka) in the Odessa region. School science was easy for Golovin; the actor left the educational institution with a gold medal. I also easily entered the institute, choosing the Faculty of Radio Engineering. Five years later, Igor Golovin, already a certified specialist, moved to the city of Ilyichevsk, where he was assigned to work in a design bureau.

Despite such a serious technical profession, Igor Golovin had a desire for creativity and acting. In 1987, the young man found a way to realize it by joining the KVN team called “Odessa Gentlemen”. After some time, the aspiring comedian and actor even became the champion of the club.

The scene captured Igor Ivanovich so much that he, not afraid of such a serious decision, left his job and moved to Leningrad. In the Northern capital, Golovin entered the Nikolai Cherkasov Theater Institute (now the educational institution is called the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts). The actor’s first mentor was the well-known Arkady Katsman, then Golovin studied under the guidance of Veniamin Filshtinsky.

Theater

Igor Golovin’s professional acting biography began in 1990, when he joined the troupe of the famous St. Petersburg theater “On Liteiny”. A year later, the actor changed the stage, moving to the Farsy Theater. Igor Golovin served there until 2007.

Igor Ivanovich got diverse roles. The actor's credits include Claudius in Shakespeare's Hamlet, Edstaston in Bernard Shaw's The Great Catherine, and even Mizinchikov in the production of The Village of Stepanchikovo (based on the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky). The talent of the actor in Igor Golovin could not help but delight both directors and spectators. It is not surprising that at some point the actor was offered to try his hand at cinema.

Alexander Golovin was born into the family of a military pilot in Czechoslovakia on January 13, 1989. Father - Pavel Golovin, retired military pilot. His mother is a housewife and also plays the role of Sasha’s manager. He has an older sister, Evgenia.

When Alexander was 9 years old, his parents saw an advertising poster about the recruitment of children to the Slava Zaitsev modeling agency. Although initially they signed up only Evgenia for selection there, Alexander persuaded them to sign him up too. They both passed the selection process and were accepted into the agency, where Alexander was noticed by teacher Andrei Aleksandrovich Belkin, and it was he who helped reveal the actor’s talent.

Since 2001 he has been acting in films. He starred in commercials for the Vitrum, Saveguard, Nestlé and Chupa Chups brands.

Alexander Golovin does not have a professional acting education.

Since 2010, he has been taking part in road-circuit racing (RHC) competitions on scooters with his partner Alexey Smirnov.

He is a fan of Spartak Moscow.

Movies

One of Golovin’s first works in cinema was a role in the large-scale military drama Before Dawn, directed by Yaropolk Lapshin. Here, Igor Ivanovich’s partners on the set were Evgeny Mironov, Valery Ryzhakov, Alexander Pankratov-Cherny. And although the film did not bring the actor much fame, partnership with such talented people gave Golovin invaluable experience.

In 1992, Igor Ivanovich got the role of the commandant in the film “Chekist” based on the script by Alexander Rogozhkin. This film also tells the story of a tragic period - the times of the so-called “Red Terror”. The film is based on the story “Sliver” by Vladimir Zazubrin.

A year later, Golovin starred in the opera “Life with an Idiot,” based on the work of Viktor Erofeev. The director of the film, Alexander Rogozhkin, was so impressed by the actor’s performance that he immediately invited Igor Golovin to star in another film. So Igor Ivanovich got a role in the crime drama “The Act”.

Igor Golovin’s next large-scale work was his role in the film “The Plane Flies to Russia.” Here the actor had a hard time: Golovin’s hero is a man of non-traditional sexual orientation. However, Igor Ivanovich’s acting talent did not disappoint, and the character turned out to be quite believable. This action-comedy, ridiculing the usual cliches of crime films, was liked by the audience.

1997 in Igor Golovin’s career was marked by the role of the leader of a criminal gang in the comedy film “The Story of Richard, Milord and the Beautiful Firebird.” The audience unfolds a story about the modest director of the children's theater Dmitry Kamentsev (actor Mikhail Wasserbaum), who once found a case with a million dollars inside. Being an honest man, Dmitry announces the money found on television. Of course, there are many who want to get a tidy sum.

In 2000, Igor Golovin was invited to participate in the cult multi-part project “Deadly Force”. The actor got the role of Firsov. In the same year, viewers were pleased with the appearance of Igor Ivanovich in the action-packed mini-series “The Hunt for Cinderella”, and then in an episode of the popular series “Secrets of the Investigation - 2”. Since then, Igor Golovin has starred in many detective films, winning a huge number of fans among fans of the genre.

In 2008, photographs of Igor Golovin again appeared on the pages of cinema publications. This time the occasion was the actor’s work in the film “A Room and a Half, or a Sentimental Journey to the Motherland.” This film is dedicated to the poet Joseph Brodsky. He talks not so much about the biography of the genius, but about his imaginary worlds revealed in his works. The poet himself was played by actor Grigory Dityatkovsky, Igor Golovin got the role of composer Dmitry Shostakovich. Also starring in the film are Alisa Freindlikh, Svetlana Kryuchkova, and Sergei Yursky.

Among the actor’s later works, it is worth noting Alexander Yakimchuk’s film “When I Stop Drinking,” as well as the detective series “Excellent Student,” which tells the story of a young law graduate who enlists in the police service. In 2020, the multi-part film “Wings of the Empire” was released, revealing the events of the First World War and the October Revolution.

Personal life

Igor Golovin prefers to leave his personal life in the shadows. However, in one of the interviews, the actor opened up, admitting that he is henpecked and simply idolizes his wife.

Golovin’s beloved name is Elena, the couple met at the theater institute. After finishing her studies, Elena devoted herself to her husband and children: the Golovin family has two daughters and a son. The actor spends his free time at home, helping his beloved with children and household chores.
