Holidays in Turkey in the 2020 season. What is he really like?

Moscow celebrates its 873rd birthday on September 5 and 6. This time, due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are no large celebrations in the capital - safety comes first, and the epidemiological situation is still difficult. However, parks, museums and other cultural venues have prepared small programs. This is how City Day will take place in Moscow on Sunday, September 6, 2020.

IMPORTANT! If you go for a walk, don't forget about safety! If possible, avoid large crowds in confined spaces and wear a mask.

FESTIVALS

Reenactment Festival

The festival of reenactors will be held at several sites in the city. Part of the Kolomenskoye museum-reserve will turn into a 17th-century settlement, where Moscow archers will fight with sabers, pikes and muskets, show how the sovereign’s troops were reviewed, and talk about peaceful life. In Izmailovsky Park, guests will “travel” back to the 19th century, during the time of Napoleon’s invasion. Reenactors in the image of Russian and French soldiers of 1812 will present the Battle of the Berezina, which, as you remember, ended in a complete victory for the Russians. In the Mitino park they will show an episode of the First World War: a front-line train, bombed tracks, a station in 1914, officers, nurses - visitors will be able to briefly go back to that difficult time for our country. And in Victory Park in Zelenograd, it’s 1941: the registration of volunteers for the people’s militia is in full swing, a field kitchen is in operation, machine-gun positions have been deployed. Guests will see an art object in the form of a tank, on which tank combat techniques were practiced, models of weapons from the Second World War and much more.

Ice cream festival

At VDNKh in the Technograd pavilion at the ice cream festival you will be able to taste more than 40 types of this deliciousness and get acquainted with the most unexpected combinations of flavors: lavender, banana and even bubble gum with explosive caramel! Visitors will also be treated to a quest from leading ice cream manufacturers and a test drive of exotic types, for example, with bacon, pumpkin or sun-dried tomatoes. The chefs will talk about the features of different types of ice cream and methods of their preparation, share the secrets of confectionery skills and open the door to the panoramic laboratory of the bartender-barista. The festival site is open from 10.00 to 21.00.

The best photos of Moscow City Day

Although there were no fireworks or loud concerts in 2020, the townspeople were not at all upset; Muscovites unanimously decided that safety came first. Moreover, the school year has begun, it’s time for the metropolis to restore and catch up with the lost rhythm. The holiday turned out to be homely and cozy, and large-scale festivities are yet to come.

What to wear to an exhibition of classical masters?

Opening days of classical painting, as a rule, are quite pompous, and this is where you will feel the real bohemian atmosphere. Therefore, you should not neglect clothes in a classic style. This could be one of the interpretations of the ensemble in the spirit: a strict sheath dress with or without a peplum, or a pencil skirt with a blouse decorated with a shirtfront, chiffon sleeves or a bow on the chest. Regarding the color scheme of outfits, it is better to give preference to calm tones: black, gray, white, blue, beige and pastel shades.

At most vernissages with many guests, sneakers and sneakers will be inappropriate. Low-heeled pumps will be the best option for such events. To avoid office stereotypes, do not wear shoes in dark colors: black, dark blue, gray. It is better to give preference to nude shoes, bright accent ones or light ones to match the outfit.

Don't forget about accessories. They should be thematic, but not too catchy. Hand-made jewelry, miniature brimless hats, hair clips and elegant

For as long as I can remember as a stylist, the top questions from Clients have always been: “Please advise what to wear to my child’s graduation? And to an exhibition or to the theater?

Well, let's find out. By asking such a (at first glance, harmless) question, the Client wants to receive a succinct answer, expecting that I will offer him a ready-made set of clothes that will be suitable for a particular occasion. But, alas, everything is not so simple.

There is no such “fashion textbook” that describes “looks for all occasions.” Even if you imagine for a second that such a book exists, it would imply the presence of SPECIAL clothes for certain life situations, of which there are too many to have a separate apartment for such a wardrobe :-)))

I'm not a fan of wardrobes overflowing with clothes. I am all about investing wisely in clothing. At the Shopping School, I teach women how to create an ideal (capsule) wardrobe, items in which are combined with each other and fit perfectly together.

No, these are not the notorious blue jeans, black jacket and little black dress. The ideal CAPSULE wardrobe is a high-quality construction set with multi-colored details, which, once mastered, eliminates the need for the question asked above.

In such a wardrobe, all things are colored, accessories are modern, clothes are basic and a few things in different styles, a balanced proportion of styles and colors allows you to combine things 100% with each other. This wardrobe is suitable for ALL occasions. It contains a LOT of items, but a LOT of kits.

Alas, so far for most girls things are exactly the opposite. A LOT of odd things, bought for a SPECIAL occasion and worn once or twice, or never at all.

It is impossible to make sets out of such things. To create the right wardrobe in your closet, you need to study. And you also need to know how to dress yourself, spend money on clothes, choose and combine things, just like cooking or driving a car.

Today I will answer your many questions and still show you a little how to dress for a specific occasion. But these will only be examples, the basis of which is a good capsule wardrobe. Let's briefly imagine ourselves as the owners of an ideal capsule and practice using the example of these girls.

WALK IN THE PARK

Are you tired of the jeans + T-shirt combination? Give dresses, skirts and shorts a chance, no need to save them for a special occasion. And focus on accessories.

THEATER

The times when it was customary to wear an evening dress to the theater are long gone. A midi-length skirt or a long vest can look quite festive if you complement them, again, with the right accessories.

EXHIBITION, MUSEUM
Do you also need to dress specially there? :) Experiment with modern basic clothing!

CHILD'S GRADUATION

There is no need to wear an evening dress, but wide trousers or a skirt, complemented with modern accessories, will turn you into the most stylish mother.

PLAYGROUND

When going to the playground, the temptation to wear a tracksuit is too great. Well, it’s convenient. Yes, it's convenient, but too boring.

RESTAURANT

Are you going to a restaurant for a romantic date or meeting with classmates? Try a basic dress without an active print or decoration. It can be combined with many accessories and other clothes. I assure you that you will wear it more than once, and each time it can look different. Trouser looks are also great. And remember - accessories are everything!

A BUSINESS MEETING

A stylish office dress code is not black trousers and a white blouse. Leave it to the waitresses. If we are talking about modern business clothes, then here it is. Straight lines, air between the fabric and the body, unusual colors, current fashionable styles.

But in our time, the concept of a specific dress code has blurred. By and large, this is due to a change in lifestyle, a change in people’s views on the world. There are no longer strict requirements for clothing for certain situations. And you can come to the theater not in an evening dress and a formal suit. But it cannot be said that this approach is devoid of logic.

Let's look at the example of exhibitions. The dress code for an exhibition may depend on its theme, scale, and the audience for which it is intended. A lady in an evening dress will look strange at an exhibition of experimental art, and a young man in ripped jeans and sneakers at an exhibition of scientific achievements.

Therefore, let's go a different way. We'll simply cover the different types of dress codes and when they might be appropriate. And you yourself will choose which clothes will be more relevant for the event you are going to.

Holidays in Turkey in the 2020 season. What is he really like?

Despite the fact that Turkey was opened almost a month ago, there are still many questions about organizing the trip and the holiday itself. And although many Russian tourists have already returned home, the overall picture remains blurred. After all, travelers have very contradictory impressions - some complain about new rules and restrictions, others immediately book a tour for the fall upon arrival. Tour operator TEZ TOUR told us what has changed and what a vacation is really like in the 2020 season.

Is it true that mainly five-star hotels received sanitary safety certificates and there is no economy segment left?

Despite the fact that not all hotels in Turkey were able to open their doors to Russian guests this summer, tourists with a variety of preferences will be able to plan a vacation in the 2020 season. The TEZ TOUR range includes more than 300 objects at the resorts of the Antalya and Aegean coasts: the list of hotels that have received sanitary safety certificates includes both budget 3* hotels and VIP hotels for the most discerning tourists.

In addition, Turkish hoteliers, as always, are making tempting offers for travelers, including discounts of up to 50% or even more. Judge for yourself: for example, during the velvet season, the minimum cost of tours to the resorts of the Antalya coast of Turkey with air travel and accommodation in a 3* hotel with breakfast starts from 12,000 rubles. per person. Popular VIP-level hotels for tourists with the highest requirements also hospitably welcome Russian guests and delight them with very pleasant discounts on vacations this season.

They say that getting to Turkey is now a real quest. How extensive is the flight program?

From the first days of August, TEZ TOUR clients have access to tours to Istanbul on regular airline flights. The tour operator’s own flight program to the Antalya coast started on August 10 - flights are planned on board iFly, S7 and Ural Airlines from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.

A flight program from two more Russian cities is expected to begin in early September. TEZ TOUR clients will be able to get to the resorts of Antalya from Kazan by Ural Airlines, and from Novosibirsk by flights of S7 Airlines.

Do I need to wear masks on the beach?

No, and even on the hotel premises you can do this if you wish. You can also be outside without personal protective equipment. But when visiting stores or other closed public places, it is mandatory to wear a mask. Also, do not forget about certain security measures that have been established by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism. In particular, we are talking about maintaining a social distance of 1.5 m and using hand sanitizers in public places within the resorts.

Do the new rules interfere with a good holiday?

In fact, hoteliers took on all the worries about ensuring sanitary measures: for example, this is a new arrangement of tables in the restaurant, sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. We also made the all inclusive concept, beloved by Russians, as safe as possible - buffet meals are now served by hotel staff. Visits to spas, fitness clubs and mini-clubs are now only possible by appointment.

Also, tourists should not worry about security measures when meeting, seeing off at the airport and during excursions - their implementation is carefully monitored by specialists from the host office of the tour operator in Turkey.

Despite everything, travelers at Turkish resorts will enjoy the holiday to which they are accustomed. And, of course, no one canceled the warm sea, exceptional service and true oriental hospitality.

Are the specifics of sales in Turkey different this season?

Currently, there is a tendency to reduce the depth of reservation. Demand, as a rule, occurs closer to the departure date, and there are several reasons for this - the unexpected opening of a destination when there is very little time left for a summer vacation with children.

Tourists also have doubts about the safety of their vacation, despite the fact that all TEZ TOUR tours already include insurance that covers cases related to COVID-19. As a result, clients are increasingly postponing travel decisions closer to their arrival dates. The trend is also related to the peculiarities of the work of hotels, which this season did not fully have information about the exact dates of the resumption of flights with Russia. Of course, they, as before, delight tourists with interesting special offers and discounts, but only when they have an understanding of their own workload.

In addition to beach holidays, are there any excursion tours this season?

All excursions in Turkey in the 2020 season are carried out as before, including on the water (cruises). In addition to full-fledged excursion programs for lovers of independent travel, TEZ TOUR also offers the opportunity to book hotels in Istanbul and increasingly popular programs with a visit to Cappadocia. The region has already become a kind of must see for tourists planning their trip to Turkey. An impressive fairy-tale landscape, interesting underground cities, ancient settlements and temples and, of course, the romance of hot air balloon flights.

And all this is available to tourists at quite affordable prices. For example, the cost of a two-day bus excursion to Cappadocia, depending on the season and dates, starts from $150 per person, an Istanbul + Cappadocia tour by plane starts from $400. For all trips, the price already includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, entrance tickets to historical

objects and museums that are indicated in the program, as well as accommodation in a 4* hotel.

All guides and drivers undergo a mandatory medical examination before each excursion, including wearing personal protective equipment. All excursion and transfer buses are equipped with disinfectors and are sanitized daily.

What medical insurance is currently included in the tour price? Will coronavirus treatment be covered?

All TEZ TOUR tour packages already include medical insurance covering COVID-19 treatment. The insurance policy will cover all travel expenses in accordance with the terms of the insurance contract in the event of a laboratory-confirmed disease of the insured person or his close relative with coronavirus infection COVID-19, which requires outpatient and inpatient treatment or quarantine.

Expenses for living in the insurance territory (for the entire quarantine period), medical and transportation costs and transportation costs for returning to the permanent place of residence of clients sick with COVID-19 will be paid in the amount of expenses actually incurred in the insurance territory during the period of validity of the contract within the insurance limit the amount established for these types of assistance/services by the insurance contract.

How to go to a museum. Advice from art critic Tata Timofeeva

A museum is perhaps the most important place where a person encounters beauty. We get acquainted with works of art and form an opinion about them in the museum; we have been doing this since childhood, but, unfortunately, our meetings with the results of the artistic thoughts of great people are not always successful and leave a pleasant feeling of satisfaction. You are probably familiar with the feeling of heaviness in tired legs, back and shoulders on which you carried a bag; a feeling of slight disappointment because you don’t understand anything; relief that you can finally get out of this “crypt of paintings”, and also the desire to go to the exhibition next time no earlier than in three months?

If these feelings are not familiar to you, then congratulations: you are a unique person! But if, after reading the previous paragraph, you recognized yourself and your feelings, then we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the following tips on how to go to a museum so that it is not only useful, but also enjoyable!

Go to the museum well-fed and sleepy

Visit the museum as a physically satisfied . You should be well-rested and well-fed, but not overfed, which is also important. There is nothing more unpleasant than looking at Ivanov or Bryullov and thinking not about the beauty and harmony of the masterpieces of Russian geniuses, but about what kind of soup with donuts you will eat in a nearby cafe, and how nice it would be, instead of walking through the halls of a museum, to collapse on the sofa at home .

True, it should be noted that here, as elsewhere, exceptions occur. There are unique individuals whose dates with art are successful only if they are very hungry.

2 – 3 hours is the optimal amount of time to view the exhibition

Don’t torture yourself with 5-hour walks around the museum; this can only be useful if you have a day in Paris, and exploring the entire Louvre is a top priority.

Under normal circumstances, the optimal amount of time to visit an exhibition or permanent exhibition of a museum is 2 – 3 hours. It's no secret that the human brain and eyes are designed in such a way that they cannot perceive information equally well over a long period of time . The eyes get tired and “foggy” after 2.5 hours (if they are not trained, then even faster), and the brain, in turn, after a long and active load, analyzes and processes information with productivity below normal.

The most important thing is to leave on time

Another one follows from the previous advice. If after going to the museum you were left with a pleasant feeling of lightness and didn’t even want to leave, then this is the best thing you can think of when we talk about visiting this kind of place. To achieve this effect, it is best to leave the exhibition as soon as you feel tired and your thoughts are wandering into the space of everyday and work problems.

If you cannot afford this due to the fact that you barely have any free time to go to the museum, and you simply need to see everything that is possible at the exhibition, then there is...

The Museum Cafe is the best place in the museum for a tired art lover

Almost every large museum has a cafe, and its presence should not be neglected. It is located either in the exhibition area, as, for example, in the Hermitage, or outside it - near the ticket office and before the entrance to the exhibition itself. If you're worried that you'll get out and never get back in, then don't. You can always negotiate with the caretaker, ask him to remember you and let you back in (you can “give a bribe” in the form of a small piece of candy and a gentle smile, and you will see how the heart of the stern museum caretaker will melt).

You don’t have to eat a lot in a cafe - just drink a mug of coffee or tea, take a breath, read or just sit and think, and then, having gained new strength, go back to meet the beautiful.

Associate a trip to a museum with something very pleasant

After going to the museum, buy yourself some beautiful album, a nice souvenir , take yourself to a restaurant and eat pasta or pizza there, which is forbidden on ordinary days. Think of any pleasant activity that rewards yourself for the intellectual and spiritual work you heroically did in the museum while viewing works of art.

Why is this necessary? Every time you are going to go to a museum, your cunning brain will first come up with many reasons why he should not go there, and then remember that a reward awaits him, and decide that the game is worth the candle and instantly say: “Master, we are going to the museum!".

This effect is called positive reinforcement . We recommend using it in other areas of your life.

Find your ideal museum trip companion

There are people for whom the best company is themselves. If you are one of these self-sufficient heroes, then this is very cool. Such private meetings with art are very useful, we recommend them even to those who cannot imagine themselves in a museum without a cheerful company. Imagine that you are left to your own devices, no one is rushing or distracting you, this priceless time is not just leisure time alone, but solitude in the citadel of the eternal and beautiful.

If you have already experienced loneliness in a museum, then it’s time to find the ideal companion . You are very lucky if you have creative people among your friends - artists, designers, architects, art critics - invite them to join you, bribing them with the promise of a coffee/ticket.

If among your friends there are no such exalted natures, it does not matter: among representatives of other professions there are people with a heightened sense of beauty - the main thing is to find a person with whom you feel good and calm.

But, probably, the best companions are children . Of course, we are not talking about babies, but about those little creatures who can already walk and speak in sentences.

Children are the most attentive and direct spectators; they masterfully ask questions and sometimes baffle their parents with them, forcing mom and dad to think about something that never even occurred to them.

Walk slowly but keep walking

Are you familiar with the pain in your legs that occurs after a long, slow, interrupted walk around a museum? Did you think you were the only one so “lucky”? We hasten to rejoice - you are not alone; almost all art lovers are well aware of this pain. “Museum legs” is the name of this nasty syndrome. To avoid its appearance on the horizon of your life, take advantage of the sage advice given by the writer Gertrude Stein: “Walk slowly in museums, but keep going!”

The fact is that fatigue in the legs is caused not by the number of kilometers traveled, but by walking . The legs have to hold a person upright without the help of inertia of movement. When you walk normally, you bend your legs constantly and rhythmically. Inspection of the exhibition involves regular stops, resumption of movements and uneven steps. Finally, standing still, especially in thoughtful poses, places the load unevenly on the muscles and joints.

That's why go slowly, but keep going.
