Here you can find foam for hair volume, styling product, hairspray, care for damaged hair and natural wax. Why such a mix? It’s just that our market for natural/organic cosmetics is still too narrow to compare five waxes or five foams for adding volume to hair. So, here we go:

Lavera Biofoam for hair styling (738 RUR)

German natural cosmetics, but no certificates were found on the bottle. On a Russian-language paper label, glued by the distributor, it promises extra-strong hold and fills any hair with volume. In reality, everything is somewhat different. If you have long, thick and heavy hair, then you can safely move on to the next point of our REVISION. Biofoam Lavera is suitable for owners of fine, light hair. It is on such hair that the additional volume will be noticeable. To be fair: this is the kind of hair that needs additional volume. But hair filled with volume is not everything: it must be “carried” from point A to point B, where the volume should make an impression. And with this point, Lavera, like the vast majority of traditional hair foams, is not all right. In a rainy six months, under a light scarf and under a hood, your additional volume will settle on the way to point B and is unlikely to want to perk up on its own, without an additional portion of Lavera foam.

The composition of the care product includes: aloe vera leaf extract, bamboo stem extract and green tea extract, so an excess amount of foam will not harm your hair, but will make it seem dirtier the very next day. So if you don’t like to wash your hair often, Lavera biofoam is unlikely to be suitable for daily use, although such products are usually used occasionally.

And here there is bamboo, as well as chitosan, birch leaf extract, chamomile and hops. The product is certified by the German BDIH and NaTrue. And right on the bottle it promises hold and volume. It is suggested to spray wet, towel-dried hair with the product, and then dry it with a hairdryer. After the first use, disappointment: no volume, no fixation. But, I’ll tell you a secret that we try our best to draw our conclusions about any cosmetics after at least several uses, so sometimes revisions go slower than we would like.

So, despite the first disappointment, I started using it a second time, but the spray broke. This, of course, does not characterize the product very well, but this incident prompted me to apply the product to my hands and carefully distribute it through my hair with my hands. After the hair was completely covered with the product, the effect of blow-drying was visible and pleasant. Hair has become more manageable in styling and noticeably fuller. As for fixation, I wouldn’t place high hopes on this function. This spray has other benefits - protecting hair from the drying effects of a hair dryer and giving noticeable volume. When it comes to a spray, the smell is important, with Logona it’s not exactly amazing: soap and grass, but the smell is not strong and disappears quite quickly. In general, if applied carefully, it is a useful thing.

Natural hairspray with normal hold (about RUR 500 )

The American brand Aubrey Organics, like the German Lavera and Logona, specialize in hair care products. Aubrey Organics has several hairsprays: from weak to strong hold. We tried the “normal” one. What shall we say? Fine! This 100% natural hairspray really holds hair “normally”. I can’t say that it lasts all day, as it says on the bottle, but I don’t want to make any complaints about it, because the product works.

The varnish is full of care components: extracts of grapefruit seeds, witch hazel, carrot root, horse chestnut. Contains vitamins and other components valuable for hair. So, unlike traditional hairsprays, it not only fixes your hairstyle, but also takes care of your hair. Two in one. The smell of the product is a little soapy, but unobtrusive and disappears quickly. And this is a big plus of Aubrey Organics natural varnish compared to traditional products, which are easy to choke on. The varnish is quite easy to comb out the next day and does not leave your hair feeling dirty. The product is not certified.

The new line of “Natura Siberika” is strictly not natural cosmetics. It is positioned as a professional hair liner and contains silicones, which no professional hair care product can do without. Despite all of the above, I decided to include this product in my review. Simply because sometimes the hair is in such a condition that natural care is not enough. And personally, I don’t see anything wrong with sometimes changing the idea of ​​naturalness and environmental friendliness. In the end, I am against odiousness in any of its manifestations.

The Oblepikha Siberica complex of oils for the care of damaged hair seemed to me the most interesting product from the entire line precisely because, it seems to me, the use of silicones in it is completely justified. This complex is designed to care for split ends, which, in fact, being dead, no longer react to anything. Silicones seal them and allow the lifeless, dull ends of the hair to look decent and lively, saving them from scissors. This product is necessary if you cannot visit a hairdresser to get rid of split ends, but you still want to look decent. A bottle with a dropper; for the ends of the hair, one or two drops will be enough, which should be applied to the palms and applied to the hair.

The Oblepikha Siberica oil complex includes agrane, sea buckthorn, cedar and wheat germ oils. Contains vitamins and phospholipids. Silicones include dimethicone, dimethiconol, phenyl trimethicone and dimethicone crosspolymer. These are mainly water-insoluble silicones that are difficult to wash out of the hair. And this must be kept in mind if you suddenly decide to use this tool. The main thing with it is not to overdo it.
