“Sasha + Masha”
is a comedy series, the Russian version of the international French-Canadian [1] television project
Un gars, une fille
(French), implemented in 29 countries. In Russia, the premieres were broadcast on the TNT channel from September 20, 2003 to December 18, 2005.

Plot

A humorous series that has become one of the rated products of the TNT channel. Its main characters are a couple of lovers, he runs a small IT company, she is a manager of who knows what, then a student (getting a second degree in sexology), both slightly over 30 years old. His name is Sasha, hers is Masha. They have been living together for quite some time, but are not married[2]. Each episode consists of short, no more than a few minutes, interludes with the participation of the main characters and sometimes minor characters. The themes of these sketches are taken from everyday life, but whether it’s shopping or going to the movies, a tourist trip, buying an apartment, renovations, or the arrival of guests, funny and instructive incidents happen everywhere with Sasha and Masha.

The fifth and final season of the sitcom “Sasha + Masha” starts

Men. They cause headaches, make children cry and kill plants. Women. They drive you crazy, fray your nerves and spend a lot of money on absolutely useless things. How can such different creatures get along? The heroes of the series “Sasha + Masha” know the answer to this rhetorical question. No wonder they have been together for 109 episodes and 2100 scenes. “Just super!!! I love them!!! I was shocked when I found out that these actors were not together!!!” — such messages on the forum of viewers of a popular show are far from uncommon. And indeed, actors Georgy Dronov and Elena Biryukova fit into the characters so organically that you can’t call them anything other than Sasha and Masha. To dot the i's and figure out who is who, we asked a few questions to Sasha and Masha - Egor and Elena. The questions were the same, but we asked them to our heroes separately.

Plot: New movies

— How did you meet?

Masha:

We met Sasha either in a club or in a cafe. This was five or six years ago. I do not remember. So much has happened during this time.

Lena:

We met Egor at the audition for the series. About 500 people auditioned for each role (among my partners were, for example, Valery Nikolaev and Anatoly Zhuravlev). At one point, we finally “coincided” with Egor. And although we saw each other for the first time, we had a lot in common. For example, we studied at the institute at the same time - from 1992 to 1996. Only I studied at GITIS, and Egor studied at the Shchepkinsky School. Then we starred in an advertisement for the same product (Zlato oil), but in different commercials and on different days. And when we first met, we didn’t even have an “addition” moment! But during auditions you are dealing with a complete stranger, and you have to play with love. But for us Egor everything turned out very easily.

Egor:

At the casting, when the third round of auditions was already underway. I arrived, Lena and I played, and then said goodbye, not even thinking that we would have to meet again. And by this moment, as I later found out, Lena already knew for sure that she had been cast in the role of Masha.

Sasha:

We crossed paths somewhere with friends. And we've been together for eight years. Wow! But it’s really been eight years, and I didn’t even notice.

— Where do you work now?

Masha:

Until recently, I was unemployed. But now an amazing prospect opens up before me to become the editor-in-chief of the new magazine “Masha”. I hope Sasha will survive my dizzying career (Sasha, according to the plans of the producers of the series, should go bankrupt in the new season. - Author's note)

Lena:

I am currently filming a comedy series in Kyiv. There I am married and play a mother of two children. The preliminary title of the series is “My Beautiful Family” or “Grandfather of My Dreams.” Mom, dad, two children and grandfather. This is a joint Russian-Ukrainian project. In Russia it will be released in November, and in Ukraine on September 3. And before filming “Sasha + Masha” I worked at the Mayakovsky Theater. Among the roles I have played are the Lizard in the play of the same name based on Volodin’s play, Rosalind from Shakespeare’s As You Like It, Alice the Fox from The Adventures of Pinocchio, Florence from Enter a Free Man and all sorts of other little things.

Egor:

I had a regular acting career; before “Sasha + Masha” I worked at the Maly Theater. He played Nikandr Mukhoyarov in the play “Truth is good, but happiness is better”, hussar Kurchaev in the production of Ostrovsky’s play “Simplicity is Enough for Every Wise Man”, Biron in “The Efforts of Love” based on Shakespeare, Vasilisk Pertsov in “One Day at a Time” ... And in films he played in “The Barber of Siberia”, “Burnt by the Sun”, “Stop on Demand-2” and “Night Watch”. Now my work record is in the independent theater project. The play will premiere in October; it doesn’t have a title yet.

Sasha:

I have my own company that deals with computer advertising.

— How long have you been married?

Masha:

I have never been married, but I don’t lose hope. I want a white limousine, doves and a wedding. I hope that this issue will be resolved very soon.

Lena:

My husband, director Alexei Litvin, and I are married... (thinks)... So, my daughter Alexandra is 7 years old, which means we have been married for eight! And we've been living together for 12.

Egor:

Yes. 5 years. My wife's name is Tatyana - she is an actress and works on television. But there are no children yet.

Sasha:

I hesitate. On the one hand, I feel good with Masha, I love her and I’m unlikely to find a better life partner. But, on the other hand, it is very scary. I am afraid for my male freedom and want to defend it.

— What do you like to do together?

Masha:

Well, first of all, we live together. And so I constantly have to drag Sashka out somewhere - to a cafe, a movie, on a visit, to yoga... If you don’t bother him, he’ll bury himself in his TV with a can of beer in his hand, and he’ll spend the whole weekend like that, periodically scaring the neighbors with heart-rending screams: “Come on, come on, get him there. Go-o-o-o-ol!!! Eh, I missed again.”

Lena:

Egor and I play in the same play “Boeing-Boing”. I play an American stewardess, Mary, and Egor plays a Frenchman, Robert. According to the plot, he has three flight attendant brides - an American, a French and a German. And he constantly “resolves” them - such a sitcom, something like “The Servant of Two Masters.” This is an enterprise of the “Independent Theater Project”. One of these days we are going on tour to Riga.

Egor:

Lena and I did not become close friends and we are not family friends either. We just treat each other well. And that’s why we work a lot together - in “Sasha + Masha” and the play “Boing-Boing”.

Sasha:

Our attachments, desires and habits are completely different. Masha is like a meteor, and I am phlegmatic by nature. Masha is a “night owl”, and I am a “lark”. I love sweets, and Masha is drawn to salty things... But our opposites definitely attract.

— How do you like to relax?

Masha:

I do yoga and volleyball - it really helps me relax. Chatting and gossiping with friends is also very cool.

Lena:

This happens so rarely! I like to relax where it is quiet and there are few people. For example, at the dacha of your parents or your husband’s parents, with your family. I also like to lie on the couch at home with a book in my hands.

Egor:

In between work: when I know that I have already completed one task, and another will begin only after the vacation. This is the best time for me. The first half of the vacation, as a rule, I sleep and lie on the beach. And then, after I’ve slept, I like to go “extreme” - water skiing or rafting. I also like to meet with friends - I have two best friends, we have been together since school. We meet our families and go somewhere out of town for a barbecue.

Sasha:

By the TV with beer and chips.

— What did you do this summer?

Masha:

Sasha and I had a very active holiday thanks to my efforts. We went to Egypt, went hiking, spent several days in a holiday home, and then also in the country. In Egypt, I liked one guide, and I flirted with him a little - I added a little adrenaline to Sashka so that he wouldn’t relax too much.

Lena:

She worked. There were practically no days off. I spent the last month and a half filming in Kyiv, and I was able to relax quite a bit: one week in Belgorod with my husband’s parents and a couple of days with my mother at the dacha.

Egor:

My wife and I went to Greece for 10 days. We visited the holy Mount Athos and saw the soaring monasteries. We liked it there so much that my wife and I even called the sea not Aegean, but Aegean!

Sasha:

We rented a dacha, went to my mother-in-law’s dacha, and poked around in the garden there. Nightmare. We tried to lead a healthy lifestyle: running and riding bicycles. But, in my opinion, it is better to buy an exercise bike and put it at home in front of the TV. And you can drink beer at the same time.

— Do you ever have problems in relationships?

Masha:

Conflicts arise not only because of banal unwashed dishes or football instead of a TV series, but also because of the shape of potatoes cut into soup or pillows on the sofa. You can inflate these problems into a family drama, or you can turn them into a joke. I also want a child, but Sasha doesn’t. Doesn't help me around the house. He is also a terrible slob and dirty guy.

Lena:

There was a moment when Egor and I got a little tired of each other. But now we have excellent friendly relations...

Egor:

No. We immediately told each other that we would need to be on camera for a very long time and our relationship should always be built on the positive. Otherwise it is impossible to work together.

Sasha:

Masha is conservative - what’s wrong with swinging? In addition, there is a certain critical age of relationships, when love begins to undergo certain metamorphoses. In addition to simply falling in love and having sex, common affairs and common attachments appear - routine living together in the same territory.

-Are you jealous?

Masha:

Yes. I am very jealous. Sashka loves to look at girls, especially his secretary Irochka. But I will re-educate him - you won’t spoil me!

Lena:

No. If you can’t trust a person, then there’s no point in living together. My husband and I travel a lot; he is my theater director and stages plays in different cities. And I constantly disappear on set. And if I still think about him being there with someone, then I’ll just go crazy. That’s why I believe him and never give myself any reason to doubt myself.

Egor:

A little jealousy adds spice to a relationship. I think it's even nice when you're a little jealous. But within reasonable limits.

Sasha:

Not unless Masha gives a reason. And if it does, then yes. I will never forget betrayal and can forgive with the greatest difficulty.

— What is the secret of a happy married life?

Masha:

A full-fledged family - mom, dad, children... And so that the parents are nearby. I really want my Sasha to finally make friends with my mother, and I really want children.

Lena:

Compromise, patience and the ability to put up with the shortcomings of another person. At some point, I very clearly understood for myself that when the first stage of madly falling in love passes, you understand that, despite this, you remain with this person, his shortcomings do not irritate you and you treat them calmly. If this is so, then everything else will follow. And trust and respect...

Egor:

Find the person you can't live without. And I found him - this is my wife Tatyana. I'm happy. For me she is both a lover, a comrade, an adviser, a censor, and a critic. Each of us has our own goal, and we strive for it, not interfering with each other, but complementing each other.

Sasha:

For me this is Masha. I find it interesting to be with her, she can make me laugh, stir me up, intrigue me and even amaze me. With another woman - calm and flexible - I will be bored. In general, in life together you need to treat everything with humor and remember that there are no insoluble problems.

The star of the series “Sasha + Masha” - Elena Biryukova - is expecting her second child

Famous comedian Elena Biryukova is expecting her second child. The artist is in her fourth month of pregnancy, but has already decided to take a time out and take a break from work.

The star of the comedy series “Sasha + Masha” Elena Biryukova until recently continued to actively act in filming and acting in enterprise performances. Recently, Biryukova can be seen in the sketch comedy “One for All,” where the actress plays the role of office fashionista Katyusha. But now Elena has decided to put aside her favorite job and go on maternity leave. As Antenna magazine reported, the actress is now four months pregnant.

Biryukova, 41, has a 13-year-old daughter, Alexandra, from her ex-husband, theater director Alexei Litvin. Now Elena has a long affair with Ilya Khoroshilov, who in turn is the former husband of actress Ekaterina Klimova.

The romance between Biryukova and Khoroshilov developed over three years, and the couple diligently hid it. But Elena decided to make her love relationship public after society reporters attributed her to an affair with popular TV presenter and showman Dmitry Nagiyev.

At the time, the news had a serious resonance. Rumors about the Biryukova-Nagiyev relationship appeared in December last year. They were the hosts of the opening ceremony of the “In the Family Circle” festival, which took place in Yekaterinburg. The reason for speculation was Nagiyev’s sweet courtship towards Biryukova. But soon both denied information about their romance.

  • The media write about the romance between Kozlovsky and Akinshina
  • The Kursk Duma allowed the governor to independently introduce a mask regime
  • Publicist Lato Lapsa about the President of Latvia: “He is lying about his citizenship. Lies about his parents. About my ancestors"
