One of my most favorite recipes. Why? It simultaneously combines two awesome ingredients: apple and pumpkin. What delight this dish brings to our children. Try it, I’m sure yours will not remain indifferent.
We will need:
- pumpkin - 500 gr.
- apples - 3-4 pcs.
- lemon
- water - 100 ml.
- granulated sugar - 80 gr.
- butter - 30 gr.
Bake at 200 degrees for 35-40 minutes
1. Cut the processed pumpkin into cubes. You can cut it a little larger, but keep in mind that the cooking time will then increase.
Pour the resulting pieces onto a baking sheet. In which we will bake our dish.
Line the bottom of the baking sheet with parchment paper in advance.
2. Let's prepare another important ingredient in this dish - an apple. Wash the fruit thoroughly under running water. Dry with a cloth.
Then we cut it into two parts and remove the seed part and the stalk.
The cutting will be similar to pumpkin, in small cubes. If you wish, you can peel the apple. But keep in mind that in this case, the fruit may soften during baking. And they will acquire the consistency of porridge.
Add the chopped apples to the pumpkin. Season these two ingredients with sugar and lemon juice. Mix gently using a spoon or hands. Cut the squeezed lemon into small pieces and add it to the pumpkin mixture. Pour 100 ml here. water, and place small pieces of butter on top.
Place the resulting mixture in the oven, which must be preheated to 200 degrees. The baking time will be 35-40 minutes.

We will need a small pumpkin. The top must be carefully cut off with a sharp knife to form a lid. We clean the middle together with the seeds well so that the pumpkin looks like a pot.
Cut the pumpkin pulp into small pieces.
We do the same with an apple.
Peel and slightly chop the walnuts.
Now you need to mix all the ingredients in a plate, add honey, sugar and cinnamon.
Fill the middle of the pumpkin with this filling.
Take a small baking dish, pour a little water on the bottom, put the pumpkin in it and put it in the oven to bake for an hour. Then take it out, let it cool and serve it whole. It is convenient to eat directly from it with a spoon or by cutting it into long pieces and arranging the filling in portions on plates.
Baked pumpkin, 2 options for cooking in the oven
This cooking option will be amazing for lovers of spicy foods. And, in order not to disappoint such gourmets, we will add fresh garlic and a little spicy seasoning to the composition. Which will make our dish tasty and piquant a hundred times.
We will need:
- pumpkin slices - 450 gr.
- garlic - 1-2 heads (depending on the size of the cloves and taste preferences)
- salt, pepper - to taste
- olive oil - 50 gr.
- basil and thyme, maybe oregano
- balsamic vinegar - 10 gr.
1. Remove the seeds from the prepared pumpkin. If necessary, remove the skin. By the way, in this case, the vegetable can be left with the peel. Just keep in mind that it is not too hard.
When slicing, observe the thickness of the slice. Don't make it too wide. If it turns out the way you didn’t want, then increase the baking time. Try not to keep the vegetables too long, otherwise they may dry out.
2. Let's start preparing the seasoning. To do this, take a small but deep bowl. Pour olive oil into it and then add all the necessary spices, such as basil, thyme and oregano.
We add garlic only for flavor. Therefore, when baking, the cloves should be placed whole next to the pumpkin. If you like very spicy things, then rub the garlic through a grater.
Now our task is to take a baking sheet and cover it with foil. We place chopped pumpkin on top. Then pour over the resulting mixture of seasonings. Mix everything well with your hands. It’s more convenient, of course, to smear each slice with a silicone brush.
Sprinkle chopped garlic on top, or simply place the cloves on the sheet with the pumpkin. Place the baking sheet in the oven. We will bake at 170-180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

1. Let's start preparing the pumpkin. In this case, there is no need to peel the skin. Cut the pumpkin into two equal parts. Scoop out the seeds using a large spoon.
2. Now let's prepare the filling. Peel the onion and cut into fine crumbs. Peel the potatoes, wash them and grate them on a coarse grater. Then we rinse again, to make it more convenient, put the grated potatoes in a sieve and rinse under running water.
We process the greens, remove fading leaves and wash them too. Chop very finely. In this cooking option, you can combine several types of herbs, such as parsley and dill.
3. Now mix all the chopped ingredients. Add minced meat (beef or pork) here. Mix all products thoroughly and season with salt and pepper to taste. You can add your favorite seasoning if you wish, but don't overdo it.
Place the prepared filling into the pumpkin, dividing it into exactly two halves. Close the two parts together. Then wrap it in foil and place it on a sheet.
Place the prepared baking sheet with pumpkin in the oven, preheating it to 150 degrees. Let the dish simmer for 2-2.5 hours.
It is preferable not to cut the finished stuffed pumpkin, but to eat it straight up. Just take a large spoon and scoop in the filling and prepared pumpkin pulp in small portions.
