Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on May 5, 1988 in Tottenham, London. Her mother is English Penny Adkins, and her father is Mark Evans[23]. Evans left Adele with her mother when she was two years old.[24][25] Adele began singing at the age of four, singing was her favorite pastime.[26][27] In 1997, Adele and her mother moved to Brighton on the south coast of England. In 1999 they moved back to London; first to Brixton, and then to the neighboring London district of West Norwood[28].

Adele performed on stage for the first time at school, where she performed “Rise” (Gabriel's hit). By this time, she was influenced by her favorite performers, Etta James and Dusty Springfield, although, by her own admission, she came across their records by accident. Adele attended the London School of Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon (where Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, Leona Lewis and Kate Nash also studied) and graduated in May 2006. Two months later, she published two of her compositions in the fourth edition of the online art magazine PlatformsMagazine.com.

Adele went on her first British tour in October 2007. By this time, her demo tape had appeared on MySpace, recorded in her youth and later given to a friend, who posted it there. It was thanks to her success on MySpace that Adele received her first contract. On October 22, 2007, her debut single “Hometown Glory” was released on the Pacemaker Recordings label (owned by Jamie T), a kind of tribute to Tottenham, which was recognized as “Single of the Week” on iTunes, and in April 2008 the single again entered the British top 40 , after being used on the Skins soundtrack.[29]

In December 2007, Adele received the Brit Awards Critics' Choice Award.

(given to an artist who does not yet have an album). This was followed by the signing of a new contract - with XL Recordings - and the release of the second single “Chasing Pavements”, which stayed in 2nd place on the British charts for a month. Biography of singer Adele

We know that show business is a rather complex and often cruel concept. But sometimes in this world of intrigue, gossip, and deceit, stories similar to a fairy tale happen. One of them is about a British singer with an amazing voice, about Adele. Now the name of the singer Adele is often heard in the news, she is known on many continents and is admired. We hear her voice on the radio, and we see her photographs on the front pages of the world's tabloids.

But could the singer at the very beginning of her career have thought that this would be exactly how it would all be? Most likely no. Initially, her songs did not fit into the canons of show business. And her image, moreover, did not suit him.

Childhood and love of singing

Tottenham is a notorious area of northern London that is where Adele was born. This is an area of Arab immigrants and people from poor families. There is almost no information about the girl’s parents. We only know that she grew up with her mother and grandfather. The father left them when the baby was three years old. Not only did he disappear from his mother’s life, but he also completely forgot about his daughter. Only when the singer Adele became famous did a man who called himself a father try to enter her personal life. His interviews appeared in several publications, to which the singer reacted quite angrily. She said that that person had no right to talk about her.

But her mother and beloved grandfather were her close people, who always supported her desire to become a singer. The first public performance took place at a school performance, it was the song “Rise”. Even in those days she had a wide vocal range, and the beauty of her singing was simply amazing.

Friends, acquaintances and everyone who heard her were delighted. However, Adele herself had no illusions. Also because her figure was always not ideal. With the height of the singer Adele 175 centimeters, her weight in 2007 was one hundred and thirty-four kilograms. And she never had rich sponsors.

First samples

Nevertheless, at the insistence of her friends, she went to audition for one of the famous schools in London, where many stars studied. It was the London School of Performing Arts and Technology. Her homework was to record several songs.

They turned out great and the singer’s friends secretly posted them on a social service, where the compositions were noticed by producers of XL Recordings. Adele initially considered their proposal for cooperation to be a joke.

Success and fame

A dream that seemed destined not to come true became a reality. The singer's path to the musical Olympus began. In October 2007, the world heard her first single; its re-release the following year was awarded a Grammy nomination.

The composition “Chasing Pavements” became her first hit, and then came the top lines of the charts, music awards that practically “fell” on the singer. Adele gained worldwide fame. Success makes the impossible possible. Through tears and pain, as the singer herself claims, Adele lost weight, and her weight is now ninety kilograms.

Personal life
At the peak of her fame and popularity, she met her love. Adele and Simon Konecki have a fourteen-year age difference, but this does not stop them from being happy. In October 2012, they had an heir, who was given the name Angelo James.

Singer Adele and her husband are happy, they are raising a baby. The young mother is working on new albums and giving concerts. And her career is far from over.

Personal life

In 2011, Adele began dating businessman Simon Konecki[47]. On October 19, 2012, the couple had a son, Angelo James Konecki[48][49]. According to the singer’s statement at one of her concerts in Australia, in March 2020, the couple secretly got married in a private ceremony in their mansion in Los Angeles[50]. In March 2020, they bought a house in East Grinstead[en] in West Sussex in southern England[51]. On April 19, 2020, Adele announced their separation.[52] At the same time, the statement notes that the former spouses undertake to raise their son together and in love and ask to preserve their right to privacy, and also stipulates that there will be no further comments[53].

Adele and Simon never signed a prenuptial agreement

Although the couple's split is very recent, many sources claim that their divorce could have adverse consequences for the celebrity.

The couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement when they married in 2011, according to press reports. If so, Simon Konecki could be entitled to half of Adele's property. As it turns out, if a couple plans to file for divorce in California, where they currently reside, the court may order their assets to be divided equally.

“What the couple acquired during the marriage will likely be divided equally,” said Sandra Davis, a divorce lawyer who has represented Diana, Princess of Wales, and other celebrities. “It doesn’t matter who earned what.”

While this may be how their divorce ends, there is still a chance that Adele could show that her husband had nothing to do with her earnings. In this case, he will receive only a certain part of her fortune.

“Adele can claim that her fortune is earned through her unique talent. This means her husband will be entitled to a significantly smaller portion of their assets,” said family lawyer Suzanne Kingston.
