On September 30, 2014, the famous musician Sergei Zhukov and his wife, ex-soloist of the Slivki group Regina Burd, became parents for the third time. The couple already has a 6-year-old daughter, Nika, and a 4-year-old son, Angel. “Psychologically, it is difficult to realize that you have become a dad for the fourth time: you feel a huge responsibility. But I am immensely happy! I had another son, which means that I now have two sons and two daughters. By the way, I was surprised to learn that I now have the right to a bunch of benefits: a lower car tax, free travel on public transport and even additional acres of land,” Sergei Zhukov told Woman.ru, laughing.
Sergei admitted that during childbirth he did not leave his wife’s side, and spent a total of 12 hours in the maternity hospital. The boy, weighing 3800 grams and 53 centimeters tall, was born completely healthy.
“It was a difficult day: I was present at the birth, cut the umbilical cord, was the first to take my son in my arms - everything as it should be. The baby doesn’t look like anyone else yet, he’s a completely new work of art. You know, he looks at the world so consciously and with interest. One already gets the impression that he is the wisest man. And, of course, I am incredibly grateful to Regina for such a feat as the birth of her third child,” the singer admitted to Woman.ru.
But not only Sergei Zhukov was looking forward to this happy moment. At home, 6-year-old Nika and 4-year-old Angel were worried about their mother and brother.
“It was difficult to hide Regina’s big belly from the children, so the son and daughter knew everything and were really looking forward to the birth of their younger brother. Especially Nika, who, due to her age, treats everything more responsibly. Angel, in turn, realizes that he has become an older brother, and now he will have to be less capricious and be an example to the little one. Throughout the pregnancy, the guys talked to the belly and sang songs to it. And now the children are in full swing preparing for the arrival of Regina and the baby and have already painted special pictures for them,” Sergei Zhukov frankly told Woman.ru.
When asked whether Sergei plans to improve his own record and become the father of a fifth child, he replies: “First you need to get those four that already exist on their feet.” However, then the singer thinks a little: “Although, who knows... Maybe in 10 years?”
