♡Hello everyone!
Today I will talk about two spa treatments for hair and show my favorite tricks for giving hair shine, smoothness, manageability. I really love smooth and nourished, shiny hair, dryness is my main enemy that I fight.
The first thing I want to talk about is:
✿Energy serum Ollin hair density✿
- with Numero mask with oats.
- with Kaaral Hydra mask
❣
Description:
Ollin BioNika Energy Serum Hair Density 12×5ml. Energy serum “Hair Density” from OLLIN Bionika for hair in need of additional care. Instantly restores damaged areas of hair, forming an invisible protective film. Thanks to the amino acid complex and elastin, hair becomes denser, thicker and more elastic.
❣
General information:
Price - 280 rubles Volume - 12 pcs x 5 ml Brand country: Russia Hair type: thin
You can buy it in professional stores.
❣
Appearance:
Packaging - a nice box in white and green colors, pleasing to the eye. I immediately liked it on the store shelf. After reading the description, I was interested in hair density as a result, so I chose it.
There are 12 blisters with serum inside, the blister is easy to open before use, I cut it with scissors and squeeze it into a container where a mask has already been prepared with which I will mix the serum.
❣
Compound:
❣
Peculiarities:
Forms an invisible protective film Restores damaged areas of hair Contains an amino acid complex and elastin The result of use is thick and elastic hair and hair volume. Use at least 2 times a week and the quality of your hair will noticeably improve.
❣
Application:
Directions for use: Apply to clean, slightly towel-dried hair. Leave for 5-10 minutes. Wash off
Since my hair is quite long, I couldn’t apply the serum alone, since 1 blister doesn’t have enough product for the entire length, I like to apply a mask from the heart and more.
That's why I mix it with masks. Today I want to highlight mixing with two masks, one turned out to be the most worthwhile and effective for my hair, and the second was a complete failure. These are masks -
✿ Brelil NUMERO cream hair mask with oats ✿
This mask just suited my hair perfectly, I tried numero with shea and I liked it too, but with oats - my love forever. This is a mask that alone does something unreal with my hair, with this serum it’s an ideal combination for a spa treatment. The mask with serum spreads perfectly and easily throughout the hair. I tried holding it for 10 minutes, as the manufacturer indicates, and 30 under a cap - the longer you hold it, the more happy your hair is after the procedure.
❣
Result:
I observe the following on my hair: it becomes incredibly smooth - as if straightened by an iron. Many people began to tell me when I began to wear straight hair more often that I straightened it, but no, I just didn’t curl it. I have naturally straight hair.
The most valuable thing you want to show is the density of your hair. This is exactly what whey is called - for density. And I want to clearly show in a closer photo how thick and dense the hair seems, my hair is thin by nature and prone to dryness from the last unsuccessful highlighting, so it’s still difficult to solve this problem 100%, but I’m happy with how my ends look after this procedures.
✿Kaaral Purify Hydra Deep Nourish Mask for hair - Intense moisturizing and nourishing ✿
I’ll say right away that this mask ultimately didn’t suit my hair, I couldn’t tame it no matter how I applied it. But with the serum, in principle, everything is not so bad and you can use it, but it still does not remove tangles on the hair after use. I'll try to show the difference clearly.
I want to note that my hair at the moment is almost undamaged, only the dry ends reveal the remnants of my highlighting on the upper strands, which was already in May 2014 - almost 2 years ago. But for some reason Kaaral still gives out such tricks every time after using it, I just douse myself with leave-in leave-in to make my hair look more or less good. The serum more or less reins in the mask and makes it work.
❣
Result:
This mask together with the serum definitely works better than without it. But still, the tangles haven’t gone away after her - they are still present, so I didn’t torture my hair with her anymore and gave it to my mother, she is happy with it.
If you compare the addition of serum to these 2 masks, you can note that Numero with oats + density serum gave me more density and elasticity, as well as shine to my hair. And Kaaral hydra - more moisture.
My second favorite hair treatment for a long time is
✿Lamination with gelatin✿
I do this procedure in courses, one to two weeks at a time, alternating with oil masks. That is, when I do gelatin lamination, I do not use oils and vice versa. As I noticed, it is from a course of masks that the effect is greater, although I notice results on my hair even after one mask. Now I’m conducting a course on such masks and decided to talk about them.
❣
Sequence of lamination with gelatin:
It is important to follow the rules, since I tested on my hair how to apply gelatin incorrectly when all the hair sticks together and believe me, scraping pieces of frozen gelatin from dried hair is not the most pleasant thing, and the hair will certainly suffer, that’s why I I studied the instructions and have been following them for 2 years now. This mask has never let me down.
¤
1. Choose your favorite mask from which you get a wow effect on your hair that you like - this is not necessary, you can try to improve the properties of a mask you don’t like with gelatin, but I always take the one that I like.
¤
2. Pour out a sachet of gelatin (1 is enough for my hair length), but if the hair is longer, for example up to the butt, then you will need to take 2 sachets. Fill with warm water, important! Not hot, but warm. And let it brew for 20-30 minutes.
¤
3. While the gelatin is swelling, I go wash my hair, wash it with any shampoo that is in my arsenal at the moment, then wrap my hair in a towel, I do not apply any masks, balms or other treatments. I'm going to check how the gelatin is.
¤
4. The gelatin will be set by then, but this is not a problem. You need to slightly heat it in a water bath (a microwave is an option), I heat it up while stirring, and as soon as all the lumps dissolve in it, it’s time to remove the gelatin from the heat. Next, I add my favorite mask, adding about 2 tablespoons per eye to completely cover all the hair. You need to stir the mixture thoroughly to mix the gelatin and the mask to a homogeneous consistency.
¤
5. Now we need to hurry up. While the mixture has not cooled down, since gelatin tends to harden very quickly and becomes hard, lumps may appear that we do not need. Therefore, I quickly go into the bath with gelatin, remove the towel from my slightly dried hair and distribute my super mask. In general, you can apply it to the roots, but I don’t do this, I retreat 10 -15 cm, as when applying any other mask for length.
¤
5. Gelatin is distributed through the hair very easily; the process really feels like lamination to me. After I have lubricated all my hair with the mask, I pin it up with a crab and put on a cap from a fixed price for masks and showers. There is a towel on top; for a better effect, I warm my head with a hairdryer.
I wear this mask for about an hour - always. But sometimes I can extend the exposure time to two hours; the mask is very easily washed off with plain water. Already under the stream of water you can feel how dense and smooth your hair has become, it is elastic and thick, alive.
❣
Result:
These are my current favorite procedures for giving hair density, elasticity, and at the same time shine and smoothness.
Thank you all for your attention, if you are interested I will be glad.
Why I love masks from Olesya Mustaeva’s Workshop is their versatility and practicality, but first things first.
The first hair product from this brand I had was a conditioning balm with broccoli oil, which I liked so much that, like a true hair maniac, I firmly decided to try other products at all costs. The arsenal has been replenished with She Other leave-in cream, Rose, Mona and Aloe vera and Amla masks. I will talk about the latter in this review.
- What do we have?
Amla cream hair mask
- What can he do?
Restores hair structure, saturates with moisture, increases shine and elasticity. Removes static. Makes combing easier.
This is exactly what my hair needed, since in the last month I have resorted to heat styling too often, and despite proper protection and care, the hair dryer and curling iron are doing their job.
Of course, my hair wasn’t sponge-dry, but I wasn’t entirely happy with its condition. I wanted more softness, smoothness and elasticity.
There will definitely be Before/After photos, but for now let's look at the product itself.
The mask is contained in a dark plastic jar with a volume of 120 g. With my wasteful use, this amount lasts me for a month (I apply it 1-2 times a week).
The jar has an easy to unscrew and screw on lid, and also has a protective film inside.
All information about the product is indicated on the back of the label: composition, methods of use, expiration dates, manufacturer contacts.
The composition of the mask is excellent! A lot of moisturizing components are what hair needs in summer, because during this period it suffers from a lack of moisture.
Deionized water, quat ester based on stearic acid and cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, D-panthenol, amla oil, delta-gluconolactone, lactic acid, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, vitamin F, glyceryl stearate, phenethyl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, sea buckthorn (berry) extract, nettle extract , thyme extract, raspberry extract (fruit), pine needle extract, mixture of tocopherols, beta-sitostyrol, squalene.
I was especially attracted to the composition of Amla oil (of course), nettle extract and squalene - my eyes immediately fell on these components.
- Amla oil has recently gained unprecedented popularity, and not by chance: it has excellent moisturizing properties, preserves pigmentation (prevents premature gray hair), restores hair structure, gives it smoothness and shine.
- Nettle is one of my favorite ingredients. At one time I regularly rinsed with this herb, so I advise: if you have dark hair, be sure to take a closer look at the miracle product! Nettle perfectly regulates the functioning of the sebaceous glands, strengthens hair and makes its color a little richer.
- Well, squalene is probably familiar to many. In summer, this substance is also very useful for curls (and not only in summer), because it prevents moisture loss and protects strands from the adverse effects of the environment.
The mask looked like semolina porridge with lumps: D.
The structure seemed not entirely uniform to me, but this did not in the least interfere with its distribution throughout the hair.
- The color of the mask is pleasant - blue-mint;
- the aroma is not sharp, it seemed to me similar to the aroma of some kind of cream, with barely perceptible herbal notes;
- The consistency is creamy (it’s not for nothing that the product is called a “cream mask”), greasy and a little “slippery”.
Now it’s time to talk about versatility: the mask can be used not only as a mask, but also as a conditioner. This is very convenient when one product can replace two at once.
For its intended purpose (as a mask), the manufacturer advises applying the product to clean, damp hair for 5-10 minutes, and as a conditioner for 3-5 minutes.
How do I apply masks?
- The first and important rule is that I apply the mask only to clean, slightly damp hair, because
a) Dirty hair has a film of grease, dust and dirt. It prevents the mask from properly penetrating into the structure, and it is precisely this fat, dust and dirt that is also absorbed. We don't need this.
b) clean hair is free from film and other “charms”, the scales from the shampoo are raised, which means the mask will work much better.
- After washing, I wrap my hair in a towel for 5-10 minutes to remove excess moisture. Otherwise, the structure will only be filled with water, and the mask components will not be able to work properly.
- I apply the mask to the length from the ears. As a rule, the hair above is sufficiently nourished by sebum, which is distributed during combing, so it often does not require additional moisture. In addition, I have an oily scalp, and if I apply a mask to the roots, there will be a guard.
- I wrap my hair in cling film, then in a towel to keep warm, and forget about my head for at least 30 minutes. If it’s the weekend, I can apply the mask all night.
- I wash it off with lukewarm water.
I apply this mechanism to absolutely all masks.
What effect did I get?
Bomb, fire, chic, shine, class! You can pick up many more similar words to describe the result.
In other words, what am I saying and saying, better see for yourself!
The hair BEFORE is not shiny enough, and this is taking into account the fact that I applied a little Broccoli oil to it.
Hair AFTER - there is not a single leave-in product on it, but it shines so much! They are revived, look elastic and silky, are absolutely not electrified and are easy to comb. It feels like the strands have become heavier (in a good way) and more nourished.
Some more photos after:
The mask is definitely worth a look! I highly recommend taking a closer look at it. Does its job perfectly!
I wish you beautiful and healthy hair!
Representatives of the fair sex, in conditions of poor ecology and persistent stress, mostly experience serious problems with their hair. Its quality is deteriorating by leaps and bounds. This includes fragility, loss of the original natural structure and shine, excessive rigidity, thinness, and hair loss. A lot of trouble is caused to women by deterioration or complete loss of hair elasticity. From this material you will learn how to return this indicator of the health of your curls to the proper level.
The essence of the problem
What is hair elasticity? To answer this question, we should remember about elasticity as such. The general characteristics of this indicator are as follows: the ability to deform under external influence and acquire its original shape without visible changes. In principle, “elasticity” is synonymous with the word “resilience”. Everyone is well aware of the use of both terms in relation to human skin. Well, if we talk about hair, curls are elastic and can, when stretched, return to their previous length without any damage. It must be said that this ability is characteristic only of hair with an integral structure and a normal degree of moisture.
How can you tell if your hair is not elastic? It couldn't be easier! Such curls have increased fragility, the slightest stretching leads to tearing of the hairs; they certainly cannot be called obedient. Great care is recommended when handling such hair. This is especially true for styling, curling and coloring hair. The reasons for the loss of elasticity in curls and its significant deterioration can be aggressive external influences that negatively affect the structure of the hair. Such negative effects include, first of all, hair burning in sunlight, straightening and curling with chemical methods, and lightening. The situation is aggravated by the lack of necessary and timely treatment of the curls affected in this way.
You can independently determine the level of elasticity of your own hair. To do this, conduct a special test. Moisten your hair well, select small strands on the occipital, parietal and temporal areas. On both sides, pinch each of the test strands with your fingers and gently stretch. Having let go, observe and draw conclusions. If the hair breaks easily and does not regain its original length, the level of elasticity of your curls is quite low, and therefore they require restoration with medicinal products and procedures. If there are no breaks, the hair needs intensive moisturizing. If the hair returns to its previous length and there is no damage when stretched, we can assume that the stated indicator is normal.
Proper hair care
Let’s say that your hair didn’t pass the elasticity test with an “A” and doesn’t even deserve a solid “F” in this regard. The question arises: how to treat such curls? There are many ways to solve this problem, but the best results can really be achieved by using them in combination. Proper hair care is of paramount importance. Familiarize yourself with the basic principles of its implementation:
- Avoid washing your hair daily. By following this recommendation, you will allow your own hair to naturally produce the right amount of fats, giving your curls natural silkiness, elasticity, softness and shine.
- Forget about heat styling your hair. By the way, it dries out the curls, provokes the appearance of split ends, makes the hair unruly, brittle, and visually turns it into a haystack of straw. Try to let your hair dry on its own.
- Coloring and curling are not for you. If you really want to give your curls elasticity, give up on chemical hair treatments. By dyeing or curling them, you contribute to the weakening of the hair and damage to the structure of the latter.
- Use a shampoo and conditioner designed for your hair type, preferably a professional or organic line. Also, leave both products on your hair for five minutes each time you wash your hair. This way you will achieve the maximum effect of cosmetic products.
- Moisturize your curls. As mentioned above, the elasticity of hair is highly dependent on the content of a particular amount of moisture in the strands. For excellent, high-quality moisturizing of hair, macadamia base oils, argon, for example, are suitable.
- Take vitamins. Yes, this is also very important for restoring or increasing hair elasticity. Buy a special vitamin and mineral beauty complex for curls at the pharmacy or take vitamin E or omega-3 capsules orally.
Folk home remedies for hair shine
Rinsing hair with lemon juice
or
vinegar
. This is the easiest way to smooth cuticles and add shine to your hair. To do this, you need to add a spoonful of lemon juice or vinegar per liter of boiled water and at the very end, after shampoo, mask or conditioner, rinse your hair. Gently dry washed hair with a towel without rubbing or twisting it.
Natural base and essential oils for hair.
Each oil has a unique complex of beneficial substances that have a beneficial effect on hair. The following oils are best suited for hair shine: argan, cocoa, coconut, jojoba, avocado, sesame, flaxseed, olive, macadamia. Essential: ylang-ylang, lavender, jasmine, rose, myrrh, patchouli, chamomile. You can read about ways to use essential oils for hair.
Oils that are used for hair must be cold-pressed and of good quality, otherwise there is no point in using them for hair, even if they do not harm, there will be no benefit from them.
Masks for hair shine.
Homemade masks for hair shine help not only restore shine to hair, but also strengthen it, give softness, elasticity and restore healthy appearance to hair.

Rinse your hair with herbs
after each shampooing, natural herbs restore the balance of the hair, transform the appearance, give softness and shine to the hair and have a cumulative effect, read in more detail.
To maintain your hair length in good condition, you can make a cream for the ends of your hair at home; you can read the recipe and reviews.
Medical nutrition
When we want to get rid of a disease, we most often act from the inside, taking certain medications. The same applies to hair that has lost its elasticity: the supply of nutrients from outside is very important for them, because healthy supplements alone are not enough.
To this end, include foods rich in amino acids in your diet. Our hair is formed by protein; its level of elasticity and firmness is largely determined by the presence of collagen fibers in the proper amount, so nutrition must be appropriate. Amino acids are found in fish, animal liver, fruits and vegetables.
To restore the hair structure, you should stick to a menu that, one way or another, contains dill, lettuce, vegetable oils, and bell pepper. Antioxidants, carotenodes, Omega-3 and Omega-6 PUFAs, microelements work exclusively for the health of your curls!
Hair elasticity is also maintained at a high level by products that contain certain minerals, namely silicon, zinc, and sulfur. You will find the first in buckwheat, pistachios, and oatmeal; the second – in sunflower seeds, peanuts; the third - in radish and beef.
Effective masks for hair elasticity
Despite the fact that the main focus in achieving hair elasticity should be nutrition of the curls from the inside, great attention must also be paid to the use of various cosmetic beauty products that can eliminate the problem.
Beer. The pleasant-tasting alcoholic drink is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals. It is especially rich in phospholipids and B vitamins. From the point of view of its effect on hair, beer can give hair not only elasticity, but also fullness and shine. Use an excellent mask: beat 1 raw egg yolk, mix with 1/3 cup of drink and apply a homogeneous substance to the entire length of your hair. Then wrap your head in a towel and wash with shampoo after 20 minutes.
Eggs. As a rule, to restore the elasticity of curls, not the whole egg is used, but only the yolk. This part contains proteins, lipids, sugars, PUFAs, as well as biologically active substances, minerals and lecithin. Try the egg mask recipe: grind 2 boiled yolks with 2 tbsp. burdock oil, add the same amount of mayonnaise. Apply the mixture to the roots of your hair and distribute along the entire length of the curls. After 30 minutes, rinse off the composition with warm water and use shampoo.
Aloe vera. You can apply fresh juice with the pulp of the plant to your hair or buy the extract in the store. It is good to add essential oils to it that give elasticity to the hair: ylang-ylang, patchouli, neroli, sage. Of the carrier oils suitable for mixing with aloe vera, give preference to broccoli oil, hemp oil and burdock oil.
If you trust branded cosmetics, choose care products with silk particles and proteins to improve the elasticity of your curls. Health to your hair!

Over one year old
Maintaining the strength and beauty of your hair will require the same painstaking work as creating your dream figure: regular “training” and properly selected nutrition. Otherwise, your hair will be dry, brittle and lifeless. Find out if your hair needs additional care and which products are right for you.
Saying goodbye to hair loss
To treat hair loss, it is best to use homemade or cosmetic masks in combination with natural decoctions of St. John's wort, nettle, and chamomile. You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo (5-7 drops per 200 ml of shampoo). The hair will become greasy more slowly, therefore, the hair follicle will not be so damaged.
You can also use this homemade mask against hair loss once a week.
Ingredients:
- aloe gel - 2 tbsp;
- honey - 1 tbsp;
- castor oil - 1 tbsp.
How to do:
mix all the ingredients until smooth and apply the mask to the roots of your hair, distributing the remainder along the entire length of the curls. Leave the mask on your hair for 1-2 hours, then rinse with warm water and shampoo. Don't forget to rinse your hair with vinegar.
The shine of our hair primarily depends on the health of our body and nutrition. Since all the nutrients that our hair needs daily are supplied to the hair roots through the blood, and if there is a problem with the body, it sends vitamins, microelements and other nutrients to more important organs, and they reach the hair last. It is important to eat at least some daily and be sure to drink about two liters of water daily.
Don’t forget to nourish your hair with complex hair vitamins, preferably twice a year (beginning of autumn and beginning of spring).
Wash your hair with warm, not hot water, this is one of the reasons for dull hair. At the end you can rinse with cool water. Do not wash all your hair with shampoo, just lather the roots, and when you rinse the shampoo from your head, it will flow down your hair and wash the length of your hair.
Use only clean combs, curlers, straighteners, and stylers. Otherwise, the remnants of conditioners, styling products and sebum will end up on the hair. It is advisable to wash combs once a week with mild shampoo, and wipe irons and stylers with alcohol.
When choosing hair care products, look at the ingredients such as lipids, keratin, amino acids, seaweed, herbal extracts, aloe extract, oils, there are even special series for hair shine, which include shampoo, conditioner, mask, leave-in. The main thing to remember is that we select shampoo according to the type of scalp, and masks and conditioners according to the type (condition) of hair length.
Elasticity: change temperature conditions
Cut a thin strand of damp hair from your head, grab it with your fingers on both sides and pull in different directions.
- If the hair springs back
before it breaks, it means it has good elasticity. - “ If the hairs immediately break
even with little effort on your part, they are dehydrated and depleted,” says Ron WILLIAMS, stylist and training manager at Phyto Specific.
Shape
Tip : “The likely culprits for their condition are hair dryers and hair straighteners. They can weaken the cuticle to the point where your hair loses its elasticity,” says Charlene DEGIN-CAELLO, director of products at Keranique. But this does not mean that under conditions of a total deadline, we will suggest that you give up convenient gadgets in favor of natural hairstyles. It is important to choose the right protective equipment.
The test showed that your hair is dry, brittle and weak? You need to reconsider your approach to styling. Try to give your hair a break from hair dryers and flat irons once a week. On this day, long hair can be tied into a ponytail; short hair can be smoothed and allowed to dry in a fixed position. Apply a UV protective spray to your hair that day. On other days, do not neglect the help of thermal sprays. They will help minimize the negative consequences of overheating and protect your hair from drying out, which is inevitable when exposed to high temperatures. They contain oils, provitamins, and moisturizing components. When drying your hair, monitor the temperature: do not allow the hair dryer to exceed 180 degrees (this is the average heat level on your device).
To help your hair restore its protective layer, it is necessary to saturate the strands with keratin, the main protein that forms its structure. Look for this element in your skincare products. Swap out your conditioner for a mask twice a week. Choose it based on your hair type. Apply it over the entire length of your hair and leave for 10 minutes. And in this procedure, heat will only be beneficial! Put on a bath cap and wrap a fluffy towel around your head: the heat softens and opens the cuticle, which allows moisturizing components to better penetrate the hair structure,” comments Ron Williams, stylist and training manager at Phyto Specific

Preventing split ends
When moisture and nutrients do not reach the ends of your hair, it begins to split, break and look quite unattractive. To prevent this, use little hair balm. Add natural oils to your care. For example, Eastern women often use coconut, almond, flaxseed or olive oil to add shine to their hair.
The procedure is simple: before washing your hair, gather your hair in a ponytail at the back of your head and heat a little natural oil in the microwave (5-10 seconds is enough for 1 tablespoon of oil). When the oil is warm, rub it between your palms and apply to the ends of your hair, distributing it along the entire length of the tail. After an hour or two you can wash your hair. Do this procedure twice a week and your hair will never split ends.
Moisture level: use oil
If your hair looks like straw - it doesn't style well, looks dull and lifeless, it's most likely lacking moisture. Our test will help you accurately determine whether your hair needs moisture. Take a strand of hair and place it in a glass of water.
- If the hair stays on the surface of the water
for some time, it is perfectly moisturized. - If the strand immediately sinks
, the structure of your hair is too porous. This is usually the result of frequent aggressive treatments such as coloring and perming.
Shape Tip :
“Frequent coloring and improper care have resulted in microscopic cracks in the hair cuticle, allowing moisture to pass through the inner layer like a sieve,” says Williams. “This leads to dehydration of the hair.” You shouldn’t give up on radical blonde if it suits you so well—let’s learn how to properly care for your hair and moisturize it.
Dry hair is more susceptible to damage. Water does not retain in the porous structure of the hair, which leads to loss of shine and fragility. To restore hair, use products with natural oils, look for shea butter, cocoa butter, and almond butter among the ingredients. "Don't wash your hair more often than necessary," says J-Manuel CARDENAS, a stylist at Sally Hershberger in New York City. — Most shampoos contain harsh surfactants [ingredients that form lush foam upon contact with water], which wash out the natural oils from the hair. Frequent use of such cosmetic products weakens the hair cuticle.” Another trick from stylists: after rinsing the conditioner out of your hair, rinse it with cold water! “It's not the most comfortable treatment, but it does wonders for your hair: it seals the cuticle and leaves your hair looking shiny and healthy,” says Harry JOSH, international creative consultant at
John Frida

Volume: use scrub
If you suspect your hair is thinning, try this simple test: Pull your hair into a ponytail.
- If you can wrap it with your usual elastic band
three or more times, whereas before it was difficult to do two turns, it means that your hair has really become thinner.
Shape Tip :
A ponytail density test will help determine if you're losing more than the average hair loss limit of 80-100 hairs per day. Thinning hair can be a result of stress or changes in diet.
Have you noticed that your hair is thinning? This could be due to a new low-protein diet or stress you've recently experienced. “And while the body can recover from emotional fluctuations quickly enough, it will take several months for hair to regain its former strength,” says Williams. At this moment, it is important to monitor your diet, or rather, the content of a sufficient amount of iron, zinc, and protein in the diet. Ron Williams also recommends supplementing these days with biotin to increase hair thickness and vitamins C and E to maintain a healthy scalp and strengthen the hair follicle.
Use a scalp scrub once a week to remove dead cells from your scalp, allowing your hair to gain strength and grow faster. “Give preference to products with polymer abrasive balls that gently cleanse the skin without damaging it. They will cleanse the skin not only of old cells, but also of excess sebum, which clogs the follicles, preventing normal hair growth,” says Charlene DEGIN-CAELLO, Director of Products at Keranique. Regularly after washing, massage your head for 2-3 minutes.

Causes of hair loss
More than 40% of women face this problem from time to time. “Fortunately, if you are not genetically predisposed to baldness, you can avoid this problem. It is important to know what causes hair loss.
- Climate change.
“You know that hair loss starts to increase in the fall and spring,” says
Francesca FUSCO, MD, dermatologist at Clear Scalp & Hair
. “Whenever you move from one climate zone to another, hair goes through an adaptation period that can affect the hair growth cycle.” Fortunately, if you get enough iron, protein, and healthy fats in your diet, you'll get through the transition quickly without losing any hair. - Refusal of air conditioners.
It is important for your hair in the same way as a moisturizer for your face: if you don't use conditioner, your hair will lose moisture and become scaly and brittle. “Similarly, without proper hydration, the hair follicle becomes inflamed, which can disrupt the hair growth cycle,” explains Fusco. “If you are concerned that the product will weigh your hair down, apply it for just 30 seconds, massage your hair and rinse the conditioner out of your hair.” - Frequent use of hair ties.
Regardless of the material from which your accessory is made, your hair experiences stress as it is under pressure for a long time. Put your hair in a ponytail no more than 3-4 times a week, as excessive pressure leads to damage and hair loss.

Rules of application
Therapeutic masks are applied 1-2 times a week, with a course of 10-15 procedures and a break of 1 month. You can combine several formulations, alternating warming pepper and light herbal masks.
There are simple rules, following which a mask for hair thickness will bring benefits and quick results:
- Before washing your hair, use oil formulations, products with coffee, dairy products, honey, pepper, cinnamon, mustard, garlic and onions. They need to be washed off with shampoo to wash out small particles and remove the unpleasant odor.
- Gelatin, yeast, and herbal masks are applied to a clean head.
- If there are oils among the components, then they must be added to the composition heated in a water bath.
- To enhance the effect of the product, cover the head with a plastic cap or film and wrap it in a towel.
- If the composition contains honey and pepper, then an allergy test would be useful. Prepare a small portion and apply to skin. If redness appears, discard this recipe.
This will have a positive effect on microcirculation and stimulate the hair follicles.
Homemade masks are good because you can choose an individual composition that suits your problem. Below are the most popular and proven recipes for products that make hair thicker and fuller.

Hair shine intensity test
Comb clean, dry hair, part it in the middle and lower the strands along your face. Position the mirror so that the light, preferably natural, falls on the hair from above and the parting is fully visible. Turn your head to the sides several times. If the hair does not shine, it means that the scales of the upper layer of hair (cuticle) are split and do not reflect light.
The shaft of a healthy hair is covered with a protective layer - the cuticle, which consists of many scales that fit tightly to the surface of the hair and reflect light. Under the influence of improper care and when health deteriorates, the scales open and the hair becomes dull .
To prevent hair flakes from opening, do not wash your hair with too hot water. This dries out your hair and takes away its shine. The optimal temperature for washing hair is 35 – 37°C. Rinse your hair with cool water after washing to allow the hair scales to close naturally.
Be sure to use hair balm and conditioner , to which you can add 5-6 drops of essential oil of orange, rose, verbena, neroli, rosemary or chamomile, and your hair will simply shine. To maintain the effect, dry your hair with a hairdryer on a cold setting.
