I have enough friends in Slovakia who got married much earlier and are still happy. In Russia, getting married early is the norm. And I, perhaps, agree with McGeady. I think there is no need to rush into marriage. You need to get to know your loved one from all sides. And she should recognize you. Let the understanding come: this is a friend for life, this is the mother/father of your children. I want two! We are not preparing for the wedding right now, let that happen later.

— Where would you like to build a family nest?

In my homeland, Slovakia.

— Are you sure that Maria is ready to quit filming and give up performances for the sake of her family?

She said that she was ready to go to great lengths for me. And I’m ready to go to Slovakia.

—Have you introduced your beloved to your parents?

Yes. We sometimes go to Bratislava, or more precisely, to my home village in the suburbs of the capital. They celebrated Christmas there, then New Year. Moreover, the New Year was celebrated twice - first in Moscow time, then in local time. As I understand it, for Russians New Year is the main holiday of the year.

I bought an apartment and a car in Slovakia. I help my parents and brother. My family is simple, not rich - my dad installs windows. I also have a dream - to buy a house by the sea in Croatia.

- Dream? Compared to real estate prices in Moscow, a house in Croatia is quite inexpensive.

Agree. However, for now this is just a dream. Moscow is undoubtedly the most expensive city I have visited. Therefore, I think that it is better to live in Slovakia or Croatia.

I heard your Loko partners joke about you, as well as Dmitry Loskov: they say, you retreated from Saturn on time.

Yeah. What happened in Ramenskoye is simply a disaster. How did this happen?

By Russian standards - average. I wasn't invited as a star. But after Slovakia, the contract with Saturn, I won’t hide it, seemed very good. In Slovakia I lived from paycheck to paycheck.

— What is the earnings ceiling for football players of Slovak clubs?

A good level is 5-10 thousand euros per month. 15 thousand – for stars of the first magnitude.

— Do they invest public money in professional clubs?

The clubs receive help from banks, publishing houses, construction and food companies. They don’t give you a lot of money – the turnover of funds is not the same. I have never heard of a team being held by a region. Two or three million euros is a good budget for a Slovak club.

Despite all the modesty of Czech and Slovak football, famous players for some reason strive to end their careers in their homeland. Your friend Martin Iranek promised to spend his last season in the Czech Republic.

This is love for the motherland! Or fashion. One way or another, that's what I want too. I’ll be honest: if we had developed clubs and conditions in Slovakia, like in Russia, I would never leave my native land. I am a home person and all these five years I have been suffering away from my parents.

“THERE WAS NO CONFLICT WITH IGNATIEV”

— Did you ever have to experience moments of despair at Lokomotiv?

First, I’ll tell you about the World Championships in South Africa. It was a wonderful experience: great victories, the happiness of our fans, the atmosphere around the tournament as a whole. Euphoria! But, having returned to Lokomotiv, I realized: the roster has long been played out and the club does not object to me leaving somewhere again. Resentment? In no case!
