TV presenter and actress Larisa Guzeeva was born into a single-parent family and never saw her father Andrei. She was raised by her mother Albina (died in 2020), who married Viktor Makurin in 1964. Larisa Guzeeva has a half-brother, Vitaly.

Since childhood, Larisa Guzeeva dreamed of becoming an actress. After school, she went to Leningrad alone to enter the Institute of Music, Theater and Cinematography, graduated in 1984 and was sent to the Orenburg Drama Theater, but was invited to play in films.

In 1991, on the set, she met actor and editor Kakha Tolordava, from him she gave birth to a son, George, on April 19, 1992, and the wedding took place a few days before. A couple of years later they divorced.

In 1999, Larisa Guzeeva married restaurateur Igor Bukharov. They had known each other since they were 17 years old. In this marriage, a daughter, Olga, was born in 2000.

Larisa Guzeeva: “My husband leaves when my eye becomes bloodshot”

Igor Apasyan’s film “Graffiti” had barely returned from the festival in Vyborg, where it received the “Silver Boat,” when it became known that in October the film would be presented in the main competition of the Tokyo International Film Festival. The last time Russian films were selected there was ten years ago. And even before this news was announced, “Graffiti” was invited as an opening film and at the same time a participant in the “Art Line” competition program of the IV Russian Film Festival “Moscow Premiere”, one of the founders of which is “MK”. So, on August 26 at the “35 mm” film club - “Graffiti” with Andrei Novikov, Viktor Perevalov, Alexander Ilyin and Larisa Guzeeva. “Graffiti” cannot be called arthouse in its purest form. The genre in which the film was shot is almost impossible to determine. There are elements of action, comedy, drama, melodrama, fairy tales, and even a war film. And all this, like graffiti strokes, forms the canvas of the picture. The action begins with the graffiti artist Dolphin (Andrey Novikov) being chased through the city at night by a gang of “normal guys like this”, for whom his art interferes with their lives. In the morning it turns out that the Dolphin, decorated with a huge black eye, is a student at the Surikov School, Andrei Dragunov. And the faculty received a complaint from the police about him. And the price to pay for the desire to paint not only on canvas, but also on the walls of night houses can only be expulsion from the university. During the conversation, the teacher gave Andrey advice to go and pee landscapes for his diploma in some “fuckhole.” Andrei barely had time to put the sketchbook in the untitled “mukhosrani” when the chairman of the collective farm (Alexander Ilyin) pulled up in a black jeep. Looking at the sketch, he said that he wanted the same one - only across the entire wall - in the cultural center. According to the plan of the man with a three-finger chain around his neck, several local celebrities should stand against the background of the landscape - including, naturally, himself. Slowly, getting to know the local people, Andrei begins to understand that “real” people live in the outback. Viktor Perevalov’s hero, a drunken village intellectual who calls himself Ecclesiastes, people call him Klyseus, suffers because a mysterious ostrich bird is languishing in captivity on a neighboring farm. And the hero of Sergei Potapov drives around the village in an antediluvian sewer truck. And he is in love with the first village beauty, Maria (Larisa Guzeeva). She is like Kuprin’s Olesya, and his face and speech are disfigured by the Chechen war. (She lives in a trailer converted into a house, on the edge of the village, and in order to become happy, people braid multi-colored ribbons in her hair, but at the same time the village head himself comes to her for love pleasures.) And he settled in a dilapidated or tower , or the church, at the very top, along with the doves, where his mother once gave birth. And he smells like the crap he makes money from. A few years ago, he invited her to star in one of the parts of the series “Maroseyka, 12.” Since then, Larisa Guzeeva has been in demand in cinema again. On the eve of the “Moscow premiere” corr. "MK" met with the actress. At that moment Larisa had not yet seen the picture. Love with barriers - Larisa, they say that for the sake of director Igor Apasyan you are ready to do almost anything. “There is a husband in my life, for whom I am ready to do a lot, and there is Igor Apasyan, with whom we are friends. For me, friendship is like marriage, only without the bed. I love Igor to tears. When, after a long break, I starred with him in Maroseyka, 12, many people remembered this role. I don’t want “like in life”! I want to cry over fiction. And Igor knows how to put so much depth into simple words!.. - Have your touching feelings never been disturbed by conflict? — Only once in “Indian Summer” on “Maroseyka, 12” did I allow myself liberties. I felt that he treated me well and that compared to other actors I was in an advantageous position. I was unhappy that my heroine was killed at the end of the film, and I told him about it in front of the whole group. Igor looked at me for a long, long time, lit a cigarette, said “thank you, the shooting is over,” and left. You can't imagine what happened to me! When I came out of there, I cried and asked for forgiveness. And Igor said that I see only myself in the film, and he can look at the whole process from above. Then I realized two things. Firstly: you can never be on the same page with the director in front of the whole group, no matter how we are friends outside of filming. And secondly: an artist must know her place - if I signed up and went to the director, then I must play what he says. Just as a woman cannot be more important than a man in the family, so an actor cannot be more important than a director on the set. I don’t do this anymore, even in other life situations. If you don't trust a person, don't get married! And don’t go to work for the director. How Cannes was conquered - Was this the only story that taught you to restrain your emotions? There was also a situation when your course at the theater school voted against you going to Bulgaria. “Literally, I said: “Well, to hell with you!” I'll go to Cannes! — And what did you experience when you finally ended up in Cannes? “My husband took me there to relax. What you threaten doesn't always come true. Cutting. Angry. I repent. If you push me, I forget about political correctness, intelligence and the fact that I am a woman. My husband moves away when my eye becomes bloodshot. And he laughs that the poor are the people who come into my arms at such a moment. I can freeze it. - What can cause the eye to become red? - This doesn’t happen often. But if a person begins to cross boundaries, then I endure and try to make him understand that this is not worth doing. And if he doesn’t understand, then I can go to great lengths. — How do you get along with your colleagues on set with such a character? “Everyone at Graffiti was so talented and genuine that it was an absolute pleasure to work with. Vitya Perevalov, who had not been seen in films for several years, played very piercingly and accurately. In general, I negotiate with the producer and director on the shore. And no one is forcing me to be friends with the makeup artist. And if a person starts to bury himself, I put him in his place. By nature I am a fairly open person. And many young men think that this gives them the opportunity to become intimate with me. I have to explain that this manner of communication is just my courtesy. — When working on Graffiti, did you and the director already understand each other perfectly? “I gained a lot of weight for this role. Igor and I were looking for what my ugliness would be, and decided that the weight didn’t suit me - he would forgive me very much. — The scene where your heroine clung to the wet glass and ran her hand over it - without a manicure, wearing a glove with cut off fingers turned out to be great. Who came up with the idea of cutting off the fingers from gloves? “I couldn’t walk around with my hair washed and in a washed and ironed suit!” Bitten lips, not quite smooth skin, bruises under my eyes... I gnawed everything, washed it off, scratched it, fudged it all. By the way, there, in the Ryazan region, I had to urgently exchange dollars for rubles in order to pay off the debt. I was released from the set for only 20 minutes, and I left in the suit. I found the only bank in this regional center, but it turned out to be closed. So when I started knocking there, explaining who I was, and asking to be accepted, the security guard started pushing me out the door with swear words and threatening to call the police. A couple of days later, people from this bank came to the site and said that such a crazy woman had come to them... - Maria lives in a trailer on wheels, like a traveling artist: it is unclear where she came from and where she went. By the way, where do you think she ended up going on this romantic shit truck painted like a ladybug? - They left to love. Everything else is just geography. An Invented Life - You said that you had to gain weight for this film. Is it really not only for the sake of an Oscar, as in Hollywood, but also for the sake of our films, that we should mock ourselves so much? “I just stopped limiting myself in food.” Then they spent a long time looking for the head, the suit, the face... Igor simply washed me and said that this is how everything should be. No, of course, I’m not an uncomplaining sheep: I offered my options. But Igor looked and said: “Cool. I like it. But that's for another film. Do as I want." If he told me to shave my head and paint half my face black, I would do it. I swear! I’ve been working in cinema for twenty-five years, and I’ve never said that about any director. When there were downtime in the film, I fell into depression. And when filming began, I went to him as if to a lover. — That’s why your husband visited you on the set? - It was probably a lover. (Laughs.) My husband doesn’t come to my filming at all. — Isn’t he jealous of his profession? After all, it involves constant travel. “My husband once said that if I don’t have time to cope with family matters - so that the children are well-groomed and the house is in order - then it’s better for me not to work. Because this is still not the same income. - And how do you manage to maneuver between two fires? - If I go to film, it means I like it, and I’m ready to lose sleep. But I don’t agree to all roles. I don't act in TV series. If, God forbid, I were a single mother, I would run and look into the directors’ eyes. The series has nothing to do with the acting profession. Any person can act there. Moreover, if the actor plays it well, it is annoying. — You recently said in an interview that cinema has faded into the background and now you are more interested in business... — She lied out of fear. I calmed myself down. I was afraid to jinx it. I tried to say that since there were no film offers at that moment, it seemed like I didn’t need them. So that you don't regret it. There is not a single actor who would voluntarily give up the profession. — There was also a phrase that before coming to you with an offer, a man must earn money. What did the hero of “Graffiti” who fell in love with you do? - Of course not. I fall in love recklessly. But when money is good. You can't believe everything I say in interviews. I invent a lot. This is the only way to protect your privacy. So everything I’ve said so far is 70 percent an absolute lie. When they ask me a question, I answer. I can’t say “no comments” or “I won’t talk about my personal life.” By and large, of course, I’m not lying. But very often I tell lies. I am annoyed by actresses who talk about how their husbands beat them and how many abortions they have had. I think they're stupid. For what?
