Fresh beet salad with carrots and garlic - a simple recipe
I advise anyone who is in the process of losing weight to bookmark the recipe, since the calorie content of the snack is negligible. Therefore, you can eat it even at night and lose weight.
Required:
- Beet.
- Carrot.
- Dill.
- A clove of garlic.
- Sunflower oil, salt.
How to cook:
- Chop a bunch of dill. add a lot of it if you like greens.
- Finely chop a clove of garlic.
- Grate the root vegetables, put everything in a common bowl.
- Season the salad with oil and add salt. Stir and chew as much as you like.
Fresh beet and carrot salad
You can make a regular salad from root vegetables, but we are not looking for easy ways, and it’s not interesting, since everyone knows the simple recipe. I propose to complicate the task and prepare a very tasty appetizer with an original dressing.
Take:
- Raw beets.
- Carrot.
- Apple.
- Walnuts – 50 gr.
- Olive oil – 2-3 large spoons.
- Soy sauce – 50 ml.
- Honey – 2 small spoons.
- Pepper, seasonings to taste.
Step by step recipe:
- Peel vegetables and fruit. Grate using a large mesh grater. Place in a bowl, stir.
- Chop the nuts into fine crumbs with a knife.
- In a separate bowl, combine mud with soy sauce and oil.
- Season the dish, season with pepper, mix well. Leave for a quarter of an hour so that the appetizer is properly infused. If desired, you can add any spicy seasonings, then the salad can safely be classified as a Korean variation of the dish.
Salad of raw beets, apples, carrots
I currently buy beets, carrots and apples weekly as I use them to make fruit juices. I believe that many people love such juices, but there are times when you want to crunch on something fresh and juicy, and for this, you can turn to salads.
There is a peculiarity in this salad - the use of raw beets. Usually they are consumed boiled, but if you have the opportunity to cut the beets into very thin threads through a food processor or other device, then you are in luck; you can get the exquisite taste and maximum benefits.
You just need to chop beets, carrots and apples using your device, then mix with pea (or soybean) shoots, parsley and seeds.
For dressing, use a mixture of orange and lemon juice, whisked with olive oil, salt and pepper. This salad has everything I love in a salad: bright colors, crunch from fresh vegetables, texture and flavor!
If you don’t have a special device, you can use a small sharp knife and cut into strips by hand or grate on a coarse grater. This salad is very popular due to the availability of ingredients all year round. Tip: use gloves when working with raw beets or otherwise, your hands will be red from fresh beets and will be difficult to wash.

- In a small bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients and then pour over salad.
