The essence of the Kremlin diet
The debate revolves around the weight loss diet invented by Dr. Atkins. A controversial option because some say that the diet is harmful to health, while others enthusiastically share their results. However, the positive reviews outweigh the positive reviews, and this system has gained thousands of fans. Celebrities and representatives of the Kremlin elite effectively lost weight on it, hence the name: the Kremlin diet, although it is also known as a protein diet for American astronauts, named after its inventor.
The essence of this nutritional system is that the consumption of carbohydrates is sharply limited and the body begins to take energy from what is easier to process - from fat. The basis of the diet is protein products of any fat content: meat of all types, fish, cottage cheese. The body will take the required carbohydrates from vegetables. Flour products, cereals, and sweets are prohibited. They can be consumed in limited quantities during the weight stabilization stage.
The main condition in this diet is to drink a lot of water, two liters a day, and eat bran. Water will help remove protein breakdown products without damaging the kidneys, and bran will cleanse the intestines. The Kremlin diet is simply a godsend for food lovers, because it even allows for fried and fatty foods, canned meat and fish, cheeses and other delicacies with a limited carbohydrate content. For meat eaters, this is paradise, but those with a sweet tooth will have to come to terms with the loss of sweets in order to gain a beautiful body.
Only the strong in spirit can endure this, or any other, diet. The inconvenience is that the usual sweets will no longer be on the menu, but you won’t have to go hungry. Kremlevka is not the usual restriction of portions during diets; you can and should eat in normal portions, but without overeating. Eating 5-6 times a day, according to all nutritionists without exception, starts the metabolism, and you should not skip meals.

Kremlin diet. MENU of the Kremlin diet for 3 days
This is a long-term nutrition system, almost a way of life, so you need to make a firm decision before starting a weight loss marathon. A few words about sports - some physical activity is desirable, but without fanaticism. The body should not experience stress; involve it in the process smoothly - walking, feasible exercises, dancing to lift your spirits.
Kremlin diet menu for the first 2 weeks. Principles of the Kremlin diet
Many of our compatriots liked the diet, first of all, because those losing weight should not deny themselves everything, and can eat allowed foods until they feel full. During the diet, you can continue to eat sausages, fish, meat, and even drink alcoholic beverages, which is prohibited by the vast majority of well-known diets (see rating of diets by effectiveness in 2020).
The Kremlin diet begins to work when the amount of carbohydrates supplied from food in the diet of a person losing weight sharply decreases. Since the usual rate of carbohydrates decreases, the body begins to produce energy from the fat reserves that are in the body.
1
In order for your body to start losing weight, in the first two weeks you will need to eat no more than 20 g of carbohydrates per day. You can calculate them using a special complete table of the Kremlin diet, which we will present for your convenience below. After 2 weeks, you can expand your diet to consuming 40 g of carbohydrates per day. And after leaving the diet to maintain weight, consume no more than 60 g of carbohydrates per day.
The editors of the portal emphasize: the effectiveness of this diet has been confirmed only with increased physical activity. We have prepared a complex for you
You can eat as much as you like. This point will certainly please the majority of those losing weight. However, in this matter you need to know when to stop. If you eat several kilograms of permitted foods a day, weight loss is unlikely to be effective. Try not to overeat. Eat a small portion of permitted foods and wait a while. If you are still hungry, eat a little more. Do not overstretch or overstretch the stomach wall. Also try to eat no later than 3-4 hours before bedtime.
3
You will need to exclude certain types of foods from your diet, including potatoes, flour dishes, bread, rice, sugar, and sweets. Try not to sweeten anything, learn to drink tea without sugar and sweets. As a last resort, use sweeteners (see how to choose a sweetener).
4
It is allowed to eat fish, cheese, eggs, meat, vegetables and other low-cost foods. In the table you can find products that cost the least amount of points.
5
You will have to look for high quality sausages, frankfurters, and sausages. Cheap sausages contain a lot of soy and chemicals, so you need to eat such products with caution.
6
If you want to gain weight, then consume more than 60 units per day.
Kremlin diet points table
All products are assigned Kremlin diet points (conventional units) or points, as you call it. Although the need to count and weigh something is tiring, here, unlike counting the calorie content of foods and dishes, the situation is simpler. One point is one gram of carbohydrates per 100 grams of product (unless otherwise noted). This information is contained on all product packaging. At the first stage of losing weight, your diet should contain no more than 20 grams of carbohydrates, which means you should choose products that will give a total of 20 points.
Diet stages | Purpose of the stage | Number of valid points |
First stage. Induction | Adaptation to diet | 20 points |
Second phase. Individual | Reducing weight to ideal or desired weight | Gradual addition of 5 points per week up to 40 |
Third stage. Control over the result. | Determining the safe amount of carbohydrates, the last kilograms are gone. | 60 points |
Fourth stage | The main thing is not to break down and gain it again. | Festival of the stomach |

Diet stages
Stage 1
This is the first and most difficult stage of the Kremlevka:
- The duration of the stage is 14 days.
- During this time, the body gets used to a completely new style of eating and adjusts to consuming energy not from the food consumed, but from fat deposits.
- Here it is important to control the maximum amount of carbohydrates allowed for consumption - no more than 20 grams (units) per day.
- Those with a sweet tooth will have the hardest time - a decrease in glucose levels provokes an exorbitant desire to eat chocolate or something sweet.
- At this stage, it is also possible to experience feelings of drowsiness, loss of strength, and even dizziness.
Stage 2
It lasts from 4 weeks to 1.5 months:
- It all depends on the individual rate of loss of extra centimeters of subcutaneous fat.
- During this time period, it is necessary to increase the dose of carbohydrates by 5 grams per week until their amount in the daily diet reaches a maximum of 40 units.
- If the process of losing weight slows down or stops altogether, then you need to return to the number of conventional units of carbohydrates that were characterized by pronounced weight loss.
- The menu differs slightly from the diet of the first stage, by adding a small amount of vegetables and milk to it.
Stage 3
During this period, weight loss occurs to the desired level:
- The process of losing weight will proceed slowly as the weekly diet gradually expands and the number of carbohydrate units increases to 50.
- The third stage is characterized by the selection of the optimal menu for subsequent life outside the diet.
- Typically, this amount varies between 60-100 units of carbohydrates per day.
Stage 4
The final stage of the method:
- Here a habit is formed of preparing the diet in such a way as to consolidate the results of the diet and not gain weight again.
- It is necessary not to exceed the individual daily intake of carbohydrates.
- Without going beyond this framework, there is a gradual return to the usual way of eating, but with some adjustments.
- A duet of a properly composed diet and regular physical activity will help not only maintain the result, but also improve it.
Product table
The basis of the diet for active weight loss in the first and second stages is the products indicated in the table. Meat products and dishes made from them can be eaten in any quantity and as often as your appetite dictates, vegetables from time to time. However, there is no need to go beyond what is reasonable; there is no need to burden the body with extra calories. Ideally, the portion should be approximately the size of your palm and the same thickness. At subsequent stages, it is allowed to gradually introduce foods from the table of prohibited foods into the diet in small quantities.

Kremlin diet complete tableFor everyone who is attracted to the Kremlin diet, the food table becomes the main guide to action. Despite the fact that each vegetable, fruit or grain has many irreplaceable properties and contains a unique set of microelements, the Kremlin diet assigns points only based on their carbohydrate content. Meat and fish, on the other hand, always contain 0 points. For many who are interested in the Kremlin diet, the table is an immutable truth, and it is taken literally, consuming large quantities of meat products, including industrially produced ones, fatty roasts, and excluding almost all fruits and vegetables from the diet.
So, the Kremlin diet! The score table makes it clear that food choices should be based solely on carbohydrate content per 100 grams. This value is expressed in conventional units - y. i.e., which looks very simple and attractive to people involved in business. You don’t need to think about what you eat—the Kremlin diet and its points allow you to simply “calculate” your diet. Do you want to lose weight? You have up to 40 USD at your disposal. e. per day. Want to maintain weight? Your limit is 40-60 USD. e. Of course, there are such subtleties as the level of cholesterol in the blood, lack of vitamins, microelements, fiber... But, judging by the table, the Kremlin diet considered all this unimportant.
As they say, “everything is individual!” You lost weight using the Kremlin diet table, and now you are tormented by pain in your stomach? Probably should have consulted a doctor. We talked and the doctor gave permission? Or maybe he just didn’t see the table of foods for the Kremlin diet?
For those who move a lot at work or play sports, the Kremlin diet table allows you to spend up to 80 and even 100 USD. e. per day. True, the body, which “feeds” almost exclusively on proteins, produces a large amount of toxins that create a high load on the liver and kidneys. Coupled with rising cholesterol levels, your active lifestyle could soon come to an end. But the Kremlin diet counts points, not health.
To calculate the cost of products on the Kremlin diet menu, look at the table. One y. e. equal to 1 gram of carbohydrates. When purchasing products, check the Kremlin diet table, or carefully study the label: the content of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates per 100 grams should be indicated here. Choose foods without sugar - let’s assume that your brain no longer needs glucose, and there are simply no consequences at the hormonal level due to glucose imbalance. Just? Just. Decide for yourself whether you need such simplicity.

Ready meals
If you think that this is a boring diet when you have to chew boiled unleavened meat and crunch on cabbage leaves, then you are mistaken. There is a lot of freedom for imagination when creating a menu - the dishes for the Kremlin diet are varied, satisfying and tasty. Any recipe can be adapted, calculated in advance and enjoy comfortable weight loss. To make life easier for those losing weight, the “cost” of some standard traditional dishes has already been calculated. When calculating, honestly take into account all the ingredients in the recipe, taking into account that the main weight of the dish is added by potatoes, cereals, and flour.
