Components:

  • 500 grams of chicken meat (it is better to choose fillet);
  • 3 medium beets;
  • one medium-sized pomegranate;
  • 3 potatoes and chicken eggs;
  • 2 carrots;
  • medium bulb;
  • a handful of nuts (walnuts);
  • a pair of bay leaves;
  • 250 grams of mayonnaise (you can make it yourself).

How to cook a dish

Cook the chicken meat with bay leaf and salt until fully cooked - on average this will take 30 minutes. Then we disassemble the meat into thin fibers or cut into cubes, then lightly fry in oil until golden brown. After it appears, add finely chopped onion to the pan. As soon as it becomes soft, you can turn off the stove.

It is better to boil beets, carrots, eggs and potatoes in advance, cool and peel them. Then the components should be rubbed using a fine grater.

Now you can start assembling the salad: take a large flat plate and place a glass in the center (it should be tall). After this, we lay the products in layers:

  • potato;
  • carrot;
  • chicken with onions;
  • eggs;
  • chopped walnuts;
  • beet.

All layers need to be lightly coated with mayonnaise and salted (there is no need to salt the meat). The top of the salad should be thoroughly greased with mayonnaise, on top of which sprinkle pomegranate seeds. If the salad turns out uneven, you can give it a neat shape using a knife. Boil a small piece of chicken (it can be a fillet or a thigh) in salted water, dry it, cut it into thin strips and also fry it in a saucepan.

Instead of boiled chicken, you can use smoked chicken in the recipe. Then disassemble it into strips, but do not fry it!

Grease the sides of the jar (or glass) with vegetable oil (for better glide when removing the glass from the center of the salad composition). We will lay out all the layers around the glass, placing them tightly against the walls of the glass.

Cut off a corner (5 mm) of the bag filled with dressing so that you can draw a mayonnaise mesh on each layer by squeezing.

Now we begin to form our multi-layer salad:

  • The first layer (bottom) is potatoes (add some salt);
  • The second is half the prepared volume of beets;
  • The third is carrots;
  • Fourth – chopped nuts;

We select the seeds from two pomegranates and sprinkle them thickly on the surface and sides of our multi-layered miracle. We leave a little grain on the inner surface of the multilayer structure. Carefully remove the glass (or jar) and carefully lay out the layers of grains from the inside.

Trim the finished dish with a knife to make an even circle, then sprinkle it with pomegranate seeds. To prevent them from crumbling, the last layer must be generously greased with mayonnaise.

In 2 hours, the tender and satisfying salad will be ready. It can be served either on its own or with a side dish.

First boil the chicken fillet until tender, let it cool, and cut into small cubes. Peel the onion and chop finely. Boil the potatoes in their skins until tender, cool, and peel. Grate potatoes and cheese.

Finely chop the walnuts with a knife. Three garlic on a fine grater or put through a press. Mix mayonnaise with garlic. We clean the pomegranate and separate it into grains.

Place lettuce leaves on a wide serving platter. We place a glass in the middle around which we will form our salad.

  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 200 g chicken fillet
  • 100 g pitted prunes
  • A handful of shelled walnuts
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 1 medium sized pomegranate
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste

Cooking:

First, boil the vegetables in their jackets. They must be allowed to cool completely, since all salad components must be at room temperature. Then we peel them and chop them individually on a coarse grater.

We wash the chicken fillet under running water and set it to boil in salted water. This will take about 40 minutes. Cool the finished meat and cut into small pieces.

Boil the eggs hard (about 10 minutes), let them cool, then chop finely. Dry the walnuts in a dry frying pan for about 5 minutes, grind them with a knife or blender (not to the point of flour!).

Now let's take care of the prunes. To make it soft and juicy, it needs to be steamed in hot water for about 10 minutes. Then rinse well under running water, dry with a towel and cut into strips.

Wash the pomegranate and cut off the top. Now we make vertical cuts in those places where the grains are separated by film. You will get 4-6 cuts. Now we insert the knife into the middle, where there are no grains, and scroll it in a circle. The pomegranate will begin to open on its own, you can help with your hands. Pour the grains into a separate bowl; we will need them for decoration.

We will form it in the form of a bracelet, so we need a wide round dish. Place a glass in the middle. We will form a salad around it so that it looks like a bracelet.

So, since our dish will come out in layers, do not forget to grease each level with a small amount of mayonnaise, leveling it with a tablespoon, and also sprinkle with a small amount of salt and ground black pepper to taste.

First of all, lay out the potatoes. Then, beets with nuts. The third layer will be shredded chicken fillet. Next, add finely chopped prunes. The penultimate layer is carrots, and at the end – chopped eggs. Be sure to coat them with mayonnaise and only then begin to decorate the salad with pomegranate seeds.
